Underrated Movies, Part II

Just like last time,Image my selection for the “underrated movie section” is a film with an excellent cast, that somehow didn’t get noticed by the public. 10 Years is about a group of friends that have their 10-year-High School-Reunion (as you might have been able to guess by the title).

The subject of the film might not be the most creative or original one, but it doesn’t diminish the movie in any way. It is fun to watch, hilarious at times, very relatable and sweet altogether. It is somewhat unnecessary to explain the content in detail, so I will try to convince you with a cast list: Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Rosario Dawson, Chris Pratt, Justin Long, Aubrey Plaza, Oscar Isaac (who once again sings in a movie. I love it when he gets to show off his great voice!), Max Minghella, Ari Graynor, Anthony Mackie, Scott Porter, Kate Mara and Lynn Collins. The thing is, I still don’t think I’ve got everyone who was in the movie on the list.

I thought the movie was really entertaining, and thanks to Oscar Isaac also had a really good Soundtrack. Never Had is one of my favorite songs on my iPod! It might not be highly intellectual and it’s not about deep revelations either; it’s about real life, and that’s why I think it’s such a great movie.

Have you watched it? What do you think about it?
