Pride and Prejudice and Zombies Teaser Trailer Release

I am not going to lie, Zombies usually aren’t my thing, but I am intrigued about Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. It’s based on the bestseller adaptation of Jane Austen‘s novel by Seth Grahame-Smith and includes a cast that makes me feel obliged to watch the movie. Some of the names featured in the film are: Lily James, Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, Lena Headey, Jack Huston, Charles Dance, Sam Riley, Hermione Corfield, Suki Waterhouse, Bella Heathcote, Emma Greenwell, Sally Phillips and many more!

It seems to have worked really well as a book, so I am quite excited to see it as a film. I have not yet read it but I do intend to get myself a copy before the movie release in 2016. I think it could be interesting to see such a well established story changed up and as I said above, the cast looks great!

What do you think? Are you scared for a beloved Austen story to be ruined or excited for all the new possibilities?

  1. I never read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies but I liked Pride and Prejudice. I just think that this trailer needed at least one scene with Matt Smith because he makes every trailer better 😛

    • True! He was there for one second in the beginning, but it was way too short. He was mostly the reason why I was excited about the movie, but then there was Lily James from Downton Abbey and Jack Huston from The Longest Ride and Sam Riley who I actually met before and I was just over the moon. I am really looking forward to it now.

      • I never watched Dowton Abbey (but I liked Cinderella) and I still have to watch The Longest Ride (what am I waiting for? Scott Eastwood should be a great reason to watch it :P).

      • I liked Cinderella too!
I’ve read and watched the Longest Ride and it’s one of the Sparks stories that I like, because I wasn’t too fond of the Best of Me. Scott Eastwood is great and also the reason why I watched Taylor Swift’s music video for Wildest Dreams like a gazillion times now.

      • I loved the book too 🙂 . I don’t need reasons to watch Taylor Swift videos because I love her (I know, shame on me XD) but he makes the Wildest Dreams video so much better
