Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Feb 8-14)

trailers

We have established that it’s Valentine’s Day, but it’s also Sunday, which means I’ll show you some of the Trailers and promos I found this week. Hope you enjoy!

Movies

The Huntsman: Winter’s War

I was SO confused the first time I heard about the movie. Is it a prequel? Is it a sequel? Apparently it’s a bit of both, definitely without Snow White. This trailer looks very different from the first one though. I am sort of on Emily Blunt’s side right now.

Mother’s Day

This has a bit of a Valentine’s Day or New Year’s Eve feel to me, but the narrator’s voice – so not fitting! Jason Sudeikis is in it though, so I have to watch it … like HAVE TO!

A Bigger Splash

Looks like a lot of drama, but the interesting kind.

Mr. Right

I know this is a strange one, but I kind of dig it. I love Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell, so I definitely want to see it. If it’s really bad, I’ll just laugh about it. I think it’s supposed to make you laugh anyway.

Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates

I am not sure how I feel about this one … I think it might be the kind of stupid humour I don’t find all that funny?

The Jungle Book (Super Bowl Trailer)

I think I will always cherrish the animated version the most, but I actually like this trailer a bit more than the last one?

Jason Bourne (Super Bowl Teaser)

I am far from being a Bourne fan, because I am not even sure I’ve seen all the movies. BUT I’ve read that Alicia Vikander is supposed to be in it and I worship her.

X-Men Apocalypse (Super Bowl Teaser)

This is going to be so EPIC! I got chills!!!

High Strung

I usually like music/dance movies, but I am not sure about this one. Seems like a not-as-good-version of Step Up? Maybe it’s good for a rainy Sunday though.

Sing

So, you’ll see the full trailer for this next week 😉

TV Shows

Outlander Season 2

Okay, SPOILER WARNING HERE! Proceed on caution, not just if you don’t want to know what’s going to happen, but also if you are scared of your feels getting hurt. This gave me chills and I might have shed a tear or two. I don’t know how this show keeps topping itself? It’s so darn intense and good!

Fuller House

Prepare for a nostalgia bomb! Netflix has a special place in my heart because in contrary to other show producers, they are actually good at remakes, continuations and adaptations.

What are you excited for? What would you want to watch? Tell me all about it in the comments!

  1. Mother’s Day as the same director as Valentine’s Day or New Year’s Eve so I’m pretty sure it will be bery similar.
The Outlander trailer was epic and emotional. I don’t know how I’ll survive to season 2

  2. The Jungle Book will probably be visually beautiful and cute, but like Cinderella people will wonder why it was necessary to remake this movie. And X-Men: Apocalypse looks great! Speaking of which, I’m going to see Deadpool tomorrow. Should be exciting!

  3. Okay, X-Men looks freaking amazing! ❤ I'm super exited about that movie.
And I agree, High Strung does seem like a not-as-good version of Step Up. I LOVE the Step Up movies, they are sooo much fun. 😀 And I'll definitely be watching High Strung, though most likely at home and not at the cinema.

  4. The Huntsman looks cool- you’re right- it’s hard to see if it’s a prequel or sequel (I’m assuming prequel) I think it’s a retelling of the Ice Queen and looks pretty good though 🙂 Hmm not sold on Jungle Book to be honest :/ You’re right though- Apocalypse looks AWESOME! And I agree- not sure about High Strung either

    • He says in the trailer that we’ll find out about the story before Snow White, but I read in the blurb somewhere that the evil queen gets resurrected after Snow destroyed her. I think it’s a mix of both somehow … I am really eager to watch it.
I am not really into this version of the Jungle Book either, but it’s a little better than the last trailer.
      Apocalypse – I can’t wait!!!

  5. Mother’s day seems fun, despite the horrible narrator. Bigger splash is not my kind of thing at all =/. Mr Right seems like fun in a totally weird way. amd Mike and Dave just looks a bit stupid :(. That new X-Men though, total chills… the music alone is awesome! I can’t wait 😀

  6. Really looking forward to seeing Mother’s Day (hehe not just for Jennifer Aniston *shifts uncomfortably in seat*) and X-Men Apocalypse – they both look really good in their own way, and star my two favourite actresses.

I’m not sure what to preempt about The Jungle Book – the disney film will always hold a special place in my heart and I’m worried that this is going to spoil that …. we’ll see! Brilliant idea for a blog! I’ve followed and will be checking out more of your content 🙂
