So, I am going to make this the most unrealistic TBR ever, but I have (or will have) these books at home during March and I can’t decide which ones I’ll actually read and which ones I won’t have the time for. Too many books = too many opportunities! So, this is more of a list of what I own and we will see what I will actually get to!
- Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard
I feel like I’ve waited for this sequel forever. I am still not over the betrayal that was Red Queen … something deep inside me still holds a candle for that character and I am not sure I should, but I can’t help it. But now we will see where the journey goes this time. - A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab
Unlike many others, I wasn’t THAT much of a fan of the first book, but I was curious enough to buy the next book. I will so tackle it this month! - Firewalker by Josephine Angelini
It’s the month of sequels!!! I loved Trial by Fire and can’t wait to read the next book in the series. The final part will come out later this year, so that’s also awesome! - Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare
MARCH IS THE BIRTHDAY MONTH OF LADY MIDNIGHT! I already pre-ordered it and as soon as it gets here, I will abandon all other books. A new Shadowhunter story and it focuses no parabatai! YES! - Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell
This is only 100 pages long, so no way would I pass up an opportunity to read it something by Rainbow Rowell! And … did I hear something about Star Wars getting mentioned? - Splintered, Unhinged and Ensnared by A.G. Howard
So, a complete trilogy … I told you it was more than ambitious! - The Shannara Chronicles: The Elfstones of Shannara by Terry Brooks
The TV show’s season finale is this week, so I think it would be time to conquer the break with the book!
Click on the covers to be redirected to Goodreads! Have you read any of these books? What are you reading this month?
There are too many books on my TBR I can’t decide xD I’m not making a month list because I never stick to it, but I try and pick books for every week, I find it easier and it puts less pressure to read it all. Good luck with your reading this month! 🙂

That sounds like a good idea, but I am too lazy for weekly TBR posts hahaha But I do get what you mean by it putting less pressure on you. I don’t really feel obliged to read them all, even though I will be trying 😀

you ordered Kindred Spirits? I want the paperback, but the ebook is only 99 cents… =/. are we reading the arc next month? also, don’t start Lady Midnight without me and Cátia!!! 😛

It was only 3,5 Euros or so and I thought that’s justifiable.
Did you pre-order Lady Midnight as well? I swear I am going to want to tear into this the second it arrives!

3.5 is very justifiable. but the paperback wasn’t available on amazon :(. I didn’t pre-order it. I want to buy it personally 😀

I bought the paperback on book depository.
Well, but you better not expect me to wait for a long while 😛

i’m reading it soon. the paperback was also unavailable on BD according to Cátia

It got released three days ago or so and that’s when it got dispatched. It takes a week until it arrives.

I do plan on reading it this month hahaha I just don’t know if it will really work out the way I want it to hahaha

I am part way through Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith as well as Wild Swans by Jung Chang so I am hoping to finish those and then get onto Possession by A.S. Byatt. And that’s probably all I will manage.

We are reading in completely different worlds hahaha I don’t think I know any of these books, which actually makes me a little sad. Happy reading nonetheless!

You’re so ambitious, I love it, hope you’ll make it!! Splintered is on my TBR, too, I’m definitely buying it the next time I make an order. I can’t wait to know if you like it! And Glass Sword, oh, I’ll be looking forward to your thoughts about that one, too… 😀

Hahaha I just couldn’t decide which books to prioritize, so I listed all the ones I had.

I got so excited when I read you weren’t such a fan of ADSOM XD I feel like such an outsider for not liking it. Have you reviewed it? Good luck with your March reading!

No, I didn’t review that much back in the day and now I can’t remember the details
so I never got around to it. But I definitely wasn’t as impressed as everyone else …

Aw, too bad! I really didn’t like it. Like, I can tell that obviously it’s not a bad book because it’s well written and everything, but me and that book just didn’t get along XD I was just bored reading it.

I can understand that. I think I only started getting into it by the end … and even then it wasn’t overwhelmingly good.

At the end I mostly just wanted it to be over. I’m interested in Holland though, and I like Kell and Rhy’s relationship. I read the excerpt of the sequel and I think I like it a little bit better.

I am kind of excited to get back to the world. Kell and Rhy were my favourite part of the first book.

Lady Midnight is coming so soon!! I’M SO EXCITED. Like it’s in my calendar and I’m going to the bookstore as soon as I can to pick my copy up. This whole TBR looks fantastic though and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Glass Sword.

LADY MIDNIGHT! AHHH!
Sorry but I’m sooo excited!
If you read The Shannara Chronicles I definitely want to know your opinion comparing to the TV Show, I have heard some things but I would love to know your opinion!

I AM SO EXCITED TOO!!!!
I am a little scared of reading the Shannara Chronicles. I think I’ve made it obvious how addicted I am to the show and I’ve heard that it’s quite different in the book. But I love the characters and the story is sooo long. It’s going to be a real journey.

OMG, your TBR is amazing! Ambitious and my kind of TBR to be sure! I always lay out my monthly TBRs like this. Jam packed and I never got to them all but this! I want you do read them all so I can binge over all your reviews!!!! *drools*
And, wait, did I read that right!?!?! Shannara’s finale is this week!?!! *dies a little inside* NOOOOOOOOO!!! My life is over! I cannot go on! I will not survive! *huddles into a corner and assumes the fetal position* WHY!?! Oh god why!?! Such torture! You got me soooo hooked on that show! I love it. My husband does too btw, so thanks for that! We love watching it every week together! ^.^

Hahaha yeah, we will see how much I can actually read. I am aiming high, but I won’t be disappointed if I don’t make it.
Shannara is over for this season and … I am devastated and sad and angry and … they better get the next season to me very, very soon! But I am so happy that my addiction infected you and your husband!

Hahaha!!! I am all those feeling about Shannara too! They better bring it back sooo fast! There’s like a million books so it’s not like they’re ever gonna run out of material! Lol, (only slightly kidding >.<)

I have the Elfstones of Shannara only … hopefully that will give me some perspective in the meantime. But the show hasn’t been renewed yet 😦 at least the guy who plays Bandon says so.

Bummer. 😦 Well, at least there’s several books in case they don’t renew the show. I sure hope the do though.

I can’t wait to get to Glass Sword soon too, hopefully this month! I understand what you mean. I’ve got a little bit of hope for the person you mentioned too. I really need to get on the Darker Shade of Magic train. Book 2 has got some amazing reviews. Apart from that, I don’t know about my TBR for March. My reading slump is killing me. Most likely, it’ll be short, romance or other contemporary books. Have a good March!
LikeLiked by 1 person
YES! I want you to read it soon too. I am liking it so far, but I feel like it’s slower than the first book.
Reading slumps are the worst! I am sort of in one too, not that I am not reading, but I read way slower than usual.
LikeLike
Ooh that sounds like danger territory. I found Red Queen to be on the slower side in the first place. I’ll have to see for myself and only when I’m out of this slump and motivated to read again. Enjoy!

I am not even 100 pages in, so it might pick up on the pace. We’ll see! Thanks!
