Trailers You Might Have Missed … (March 14-20)

Some weeks I really struggle to find anything interesting, well THIS WEEK WAS FAR FROM THAT! So many new trailers came out, even if a lot of them were for movies that already had trailers, I am excited about most of them. Let’s get this started!

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

Does it look awesome? Definitely! Does it look anything like the book? Not really?
Ransom is cool with the changes they made, so I am definitely going to sit here and start complaining without having seen the actual movie BUT I just want to throw it out there in order to make sure that everyone who hasn’t read it knows that’s mostly not what’s happening in the books.

Now You See Me 2

X-Men: Apocalypse

I am so afraid of that movie. I am scared it’s going to be really heart crushing. What’s up with all the negativity towards this movie? I think it looks super intense. When the bombs go up and the music starts – oh my!

The Legend of Tarzan

That definitely isn’t the Tarzan version I grew up with, but I am sort of intrigued. Whenever I watch it, I can’t help but wish for the Phil Collins songs to start playing in the background. And was that Vandal Savage at 1.35? Uuuuh! (Definitely me paying attention to the wrong things)

Central Intelligence

It might be funny. I said might!

It’s so adorable!

I am not really into these sort of historic films, but maybe one of you is. I am just going to leave this here.

Interesting cast! I am not sure how I feel about Jude Law with that accent though.

Jane Wants a Boyfriend

I love both, Amir Arison and Eliza Dushku, so, even if they aren’t even the main characters, I want to watch that movie.

Sausage Party

Please, be aware that this is definitely not for children hahaha

TV Shows

Orphan Black Season 4

I don’t even know what to say about this show anymore.

The A Word

It’s Eccleston and that’s the main reason I even watched that promo … but it’s actually an interesting topic! I am just not sure that’s my kind of show.

Good Behavior

It’s Michelle Dockery! I am not used to seeing her in modern day life and without her air of aristocracy.

As always, what do you want to watch? What’s your kind of movie or show? Let me read all about it in the comments!

  1. The X-Men trailer gave me goosebumps. I’m a bit out apparently… what do you mean about negativity towards the movie? I think it looks awesome. And the amount of mutants they have in this movie? WOW. I almost missed Havoc in that last scene…

  2. Miss Peregrine’s home for peculiar children looks really good! I myself haven’t read the book but it looks really interesting, for some reason I had in my head that it was sort of a horror? Not sure why I always thought that aha! Also now you see me 2, i’m curious as to why Isla Fisher is not in the second one though 🙂

    • It is horror, just YA horror. I think that’s even a little bit what it’s classified as in terms of genre. Even though I don’t think it follows typical horror outlines.
I wonder the same about Isla Fisher. I should probably google that … I just read that she had to drop out because of her pregnancy. But Lizzy Caplan isn’t playing her character, she’s a new one. So, if they continue the movies is a franchise, she might return.

  3. Thank you for sharing all of these! 🙂 I didn’t read Miss Peregrine, but I’m certainly intrigued about it. Mixed reviews keep me from adding it to my TBR for now, though. NOW YOU SEE ME! I loved the first movie, I’m so excited for the second one. And Storks seem ADORABLE. Can’t wait!

  4. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children trailer is soo good but I haven’t read the book so I can’t talk about book to movie adaptation. But I’m definitely watching it!
I haven’t finished watching Downton Abbey but wow! That’s different! haha

  5. What’s this about the X-Men negativity. Personally I think X-Men Apocalypse looks epic. I’ve always loved the concept of the four horsemen. The trailer gave me chills.
I’ve still not read Miss Peregrine but I want to, hopefully before the film comes out.
I must admit the first thing that pops into mind every time I think about Tarzan is the Phil Collins soundtrack, Son of Man was my go-to tune haha. Having said that the trailer does look interesting and I quite like the look of Alexander Skarsgård 😛

    • I think X-Men looks great too, but a lot of people are complaining that Wolverine isn’t there anymore and that Jennifer Lawrence is messing up Mystique’s character, as she is not supposed to be good or in her human form.
I hope you’ll enjoy Miss Peregrine, but the books weren’t really my thing to be honest.
Phil Collins music was everything! I listened to that up and down all day long!
Alexander Skarsgård is so swoon-worthy. Wouldn’t be the first time that I watched something just for him.

  6. Now You See Me 2 and X-Men: Apocalypse definitely looks like fun. Tarzan, I’m not so sure. Didn’t we just get a Tarzan film these past couple of years? Maybe two? I know one was computer-animated.
And the A-word definitely looks interesting, especially to someone who’s on the spectrum. And the Ninth Doctor! He was my first Doctor. I wonder if it will be available in the States.
