April 2016 TBR

I was going to say that I wouldn’t be aiming as high as last month in April, but it turns out there are a lot of books to be read and even more to be ordered. So, let’s see what I have set my eyes on:

  • Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs
I am just reading this to finally finish this series … even though I tried really, really hard, Ransom has not been able to captivate me like his wife. Which is a real pity!
  • Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare
Cátia’s copy will hopefully be there by Monday and then we will have our disastrous, obsessive, too much buddy read. I need to work on that … Cristina‘s, Cátia‘s and my blog names did not match as well as I thought.
  • Splintered, Unhinged and Ensnared by A.G. Howard
This series is target of another buddy read, hopefully with Marie again. For now we have only talked about the first book, but I honestly can’t promise anything once I have started a series.
  • Nowhere But Here by Katie McGarry
By now you should know that I really like this woman. Her book is part of my giveaway, but here’s the catch. I haven’t actually read the book yet! I know … weird! I will redeem that soon though, because Pushing the Limits is still one of my favourite contemporary romance books.
  • Anything You Want by Geoff Herbach
This book needs to be read this month! And once again, this is also a buddy read with Cristina!

Library of Souls (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children, #3)   Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices #1)   Splintered (Splintered, #1)   Unhinged (Splintered, #2)   Ensnared (Splintered, #3)   Nowhere But Here (Thunder Road, #1)   26760138

Seven books again! I have even more ebooks lined up, but I don’t want to give anything away until that is certain. Click on the covers if you want to know more about the books! What are you planning to read this month? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

  2. ‘Too many disastrous obsessions’?
I want to read Lady Midnight, but first I will need to get my hands on and read City of Heavenly Fire… Good luck with your reading!

    • Thank you! I feel like it’s so little compared to my friends who’ve read 20 or so books last month. I don’t understand how that even works. Maybe they are breathing books?
