Cover Reveal: Player by M.L. Sparrow

Some of you may remember my review of Ghetto by M.L. Sparrow from not too long ago. I really enjoyed that book and was happen when she contacted me about her new book Player, a New Adult Contemporary Romance in her upcoming series What Happens on Campus series. Now, I am not known for reading NA a lot, but I do want to get into it a little more and I completely love it when authors aren’t afraid to venture out into different genres. I haven’t read the book yet, because I want to review it closer to its release date on September 1st, but I am definitely intrigued by what I know so far!

You may wonder what Player is actually about, but don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. Here’s the blurb:

Let the game begin…

After a tragic accident which leaves her tormented by guilt, Chloe Newman accepts a scholarship to study a St. Joseph’s University. Traveling from England to Texas, the last thing she expects is to meet the schools charming quarterback on her first night. However, Parker Mitchell is a player both on and off the field.

Parker is immediately fascinated by Chloe and, after a rocky start, they manage to find a way to make their relationship work despite interference from others on campus, including Parker’s jealous ex, and the ghosts that haunt Chloe’s conscience. But, the real test comes when they visit Parker’s family over Christmas break and he finds himself being pulled back into their lifestyle…

Now, without further ado – the cover:

I think it looks edgy and definitely has the Football vibe down. Obviously … because there is an actual Football on it. But I have to say that was part of the reason I wanted to pick up Player. It seems like I enjoy myself some athletic guys in my NA.
