Peoples, I am so committed to Trailer Sunday, I almost taped my ice pack to my cheek (which I need because I got a wisdom tooth removed and now I feel like my face is an oven). However, I thought that probably wasn’t the best idea and am now typing this super fast, because I don’t want to use just one hand. I am lazy like that and I am also clearly rambling, so let’s get started, here are the movie trailers for this week:
Movies
Table 19
I don’t know if it’s because my brain is fried by now, but I find this really funny.
Kids in Love
I want this movie! It’s so British and fresh!
Tallulah
Netflix has some amazing movies lately. I watched The Fundamentals of Caring the other day and it was AMAZING! Definitely checking this one out as well.
The Intervention
A marriage intervention? I had no idea that was a thing!
Imperium
As much as I like Daniel Radcliffe and wish him all the best for his career, this is just not my kind of movie … I just find this realistically scary.
Goat
That’s another nope from me … I prefer lighthearted college movies.
So, what are you gonna watch? What are you gonna pass up? Tell me all about it!
Table 19 looks good, I love Anna Kendrick so much she’s just so honest and funny. Its refreshing to see someone just be like ‘who cares what people think’. Definitely will be watching this one, I watched a film called Mr. Right with her and it was like a ‘what the heck am I watching’ sort of thing but at the same time I kept laughing throughout. It was just taking the mick out of spy sort of films I think. Have you seen that one?

Oh yes, Mr. Right … not my kind of movie. I adore Sam Rockwell, but this was just a whole other kind of silly.

I think all of these look pretty good! Each is totally different but they all look like good ones. I will be looking out for all of them! Thanks for posting!

I have to see Table 19! We went to a wedding this summer and were at the back at Table 12. We joked about being those people!

Hahaha that’s brilliant!

Thanks! 😉 What made it even more fun was that one of the servers looked exactly like Arya Stark from the GoT TV show. Our tablemates freaked out about it. I talked them into asking her to get her picture taken in the photobooth with them. The whole night was pretty funny.

That’s so fun! Did she do it? Arya is one badass character, so I bet she felt flattered that you thought they looked alike!

Yes! But she acted like she didn’t know who they were talking about. Doesn’t everyone know GoT actors these days?

Whaaaat? Yeah… everyone knows Game of Thrones people, even the ones who don’t watch it.

I’ve always said I’d make a great spy for the FBI into a neo-Nazi organization. I certainly look like the ideal member of the Aryan race, and I’ve been known to destroy or disrupt organizations just by being part of them. 🙂
In any case, I’ll definitely try to see that movie if I can. It looks good, and I love Daniel Radcliffe. Never seen a movie where he’s been bad, even if the movie itself has been awful.

Well, then Imperium sure looks like the right kind of movie for you.

Even if it doesn’t have a monster or serial killer or ghost (as far as I’m aware, that is).
By the way, funny story: so remember when I told you that I got my mom interested in Red Rising? Well, a couple of days ago I was hanging with my mother, and she asked me to guess what sci-fi novel she’d reserved from the library.
“Red Rising?” I asked.
She gives me a look and says, “Isn’t it Mars Rising?”
“No, it’s Red Rising.”
“Oh, then I reserved the wrong book.”
I think by now she’s reserved the right book, but it’s still pretty funny.

Hahaha that’s hilarious! I feel like checking out what Mars Rising is about now though.

Well, I found a book called Mars Rising, and it sounds a bit like Red Rising, but it’s written like a historical tome.

I checked on Goodreads and found two books. Nothing near as popular as Red Rising though.

That’s not surprising, is it?

Table 19 sounds so good! Kids In Love is a must-see, because I love Cara Delevingne! This summer, I am mostly looking forward to Nerve, because awesome deadly game world + Emma Roberts & Dave Franco? YES PLEASE.

Nerve does look good, although I am not an Emma Roberts fan. It got way darker in the promo than I thought it would.
