I’ve been a little MIA this week, but here’s a post you can always count on. I once again bring you some seriously awesome trailers this week (no TV shows again … don’t know what’s up with that, but I guess there’s nothing new coming that I haven’t shown already). I am really excited about some of those movies, so let’s begin!
Movies
The Edge of Seventeen
IT’S LIKE A YA CONTEMPORARY NOVEL! Cátia had the perfect reaction to it when I showed her the trailer by saying that this is a movie she didn’t know she needed in her life. I legit cannot wait to see this, because even though the trailer is kind of long, it doesn’t tell me how it ends or what all is happening in between. I have high hopes for this one. (Also, the cast is great!)
Loving
It looks like such a powerful movie and all I can think of is Love is Love is Love is Love is Love …
A Monster Calls
THIS REDUCES ME TO TEARS EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! I seriously need to read the book soon!
The Hollars
John Krasinski WROTE and DIRECTED and STARS in this movie. I thought I couldn’t like him more, but apparently I can. He’s the best! (But on a side note … I feel like Anna Kendrick is in everything these days.)
Rogue One (Featurette)
This is really just one for the fans!
La La Land
I quite like it when Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling work together.
Rules Don’t Apply
I’d watch almost anything with Lily Collins in it … there, I said it.
Billionaire Ransom
I am confused to be honest. On the one hand, I cannot take it seriously, but then again, there are so many actors and actresses from my favourite teen TV shows. I doubt I would watch it in movie theaters though.
Don’t Worry Baby
Most awkward situation – are you the father of the child or is it your dad?
The Model
This is such a dark view of the industry, but somehow I don’t doubt that is truly like that in parts.
As always, my question now: What are you going to watch?
I’m telling this again, I need The Edge of Seventeen in my life now. That movie looks awesome. La La LAnd looks great too 😀

I can only agree with both statements, even though with The Edge a little more hahaha

I recently got a 10% discount for TBD and this is definitely on my wishlist, so I’ll probably order it soon.

OMG! I wish The Edge of Seventeen was a book I could read right now! I want to see that one right now.
And you’re right about Anna Kendrick, but I don’t really care because I love her and would watch anything she’s in.
I would watch Don’t Worry Baby just because Van from Reba is in it.
So many good ones this week!

The Edge of Seventeen looks sooo great! Thank you for introducing me to it because I doubt I would ever watch the trailer other way. Now I’m SO excited and the cast looks great!
The Model seems to be a dark movie and I agree with you though maybe it is an interesting movie

Hahaha you are welcome! (Funnily enough Cátia said the same. She saw it in her subscriptions on YouTube but would have never clicked on it hadn’t it been for me).
Yep, The Model has me intrigued as well.

Oh my god The Edge of Seventeen looks amazing (the only thing I didn’t like about it was the singer that butchered “Help” in the background- but other than that I’m game!) Oh god Loving and A Monster Calls both made me teary eyed!! And I need to read a monster calls already!! And Rogue One was the one trailer I didn’t miss 😉 Don’t Worry Baby looks seriously awkward!! And you’re right- the model looks very dark, but I think the industry can be pretty messed up at times

I need to read A Monster Calls as well. I still have a 10% off discount for TBD, so I’ll probably use it on that book, but I want to wait until after my birthday.

A Monster Calls and The Edge of 17 both look amazing. I need those movies in my life, but I also feel like The Edge has such a YA contemporary feel to it. I am honestly surprised that it is not a book hahaha
