Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Nov 14-20)

trailers

I just had one of the greatest weekends at the Vienna Comic Con, working on Saturday at the VIP-Counter again and then spending everything I’ve earned on the floors today. I might just do a separate post for that sometime (but nothing is for sure yet), but I am so beat, my eyes are about to just fall shut. I hope I could still compile a list of trailers that made sense!

Movies

Beauty and the Beast

It’s PERFECTION! (Although I never noticed how inpractical candles are for hands when Lumiere was just an animated version)

Before I Fall

I wasn’t even going to read the book … but then I saw the trailer and now a voice inside my head is telling me that I have to. I really like Zoey Deutch by the way.

Kong: Skull Island

That jolly start though!

The Zookeeper’s Wife

It took me way too long to realise this wasn’t going to be about a zoo. This is going to be so unbearably sad.

The Secret Scripture

That cast, peoples! So many pretty people.

Detour

Am I the only one who’s vibing Fight Club here?

A Kind of Murder

Why is the only thing I am thinking about how I cannot place the time this is supposed to play in? Also, it looks like a mix between Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train somehow … that’s all my thoughts.

Monster Trucks

I put this on here before, but I don’t remember what was in the supposed first trailer, so here you go again!

Ghost in the Shell

So, this is the actual trailer.

TV Shows

The Royals (Season 3)

Only two more weeks, folks! I CANNOT WAIT!

Gilmore Girls

LESS THAN A WEEK GUYS AND GIRLS!

A Series of Unfortunate Events

It looks very interesting, but I am holding off judgement until I see it. (I am still just seeing a dressed up Barney Stinson and it’s making things difficult …)

What are you going to watch? What are you watching? How was your week?

  1. 1. I’m really hoping Beauty and the Beast answers one of the plot holes of the original movie: the townsfolk live right near a great lord’s manor. Did the enchantress make them forget that they have a lord or something? Why doesn’t anyone remember that a noble whose family probably collected their taxes for years lives nearby?
    2. Much more psyched for some Kong now than I was before.
    3. I think A Kind of Murder takes place in the sixties or the seventies, but I’d need some more information to more accurately predict when it takes place.
    4. Ghost in the Shell looks AWESOME!!!
    5. I think A Series of Unfortunate Events is going to be awesome. At least it’ll be closer to the source material than the movie from our childhoods.
    6. Where’s that trailer I posted on your timeline? There’s a YouTube version somewhere. Is it because it’s a teaser?

    • 1. That’s something I never even thought about and honestly also never questioned. I doubt it will be answered in this movie though.
      2. okay. I don’t have any certain feelings for Kong yet.
      3. Could be. It definitely doesn’t look like current clothing, but 60s makes sense.
      4. *nods*
      5. I don’t know. I liked the movie, even if it wasn’t accurate.
      6. First, I don’t HAVE to post everything you send me. Second, I only ever post YouTube trailers and third, you sent me something that was entirely in a foreign language without English subtitles and it was only a teaser in addition to that. That’s not the kind of stuff I post here.

  2. I am most excited for Gilmore Girls (I am not nervous at all about it like I usually am with revivals). Also, A Series of Unfortunate Events looks great! I’ve been wanting a TV series of that book series for a while.

I was so happy to say I did not know who Tom Hiddleston was before I watched The Night Manager. Now I see his face and I want to watch whatever thing it is. I’m so weak πŸ˜‚

  4. THE ROYALS. I screamed at my computer seeing this, THANK YOU KAT for this. I am way too excited for that show to be back, and it seems like some bad, bad and nasty stuff will happen hahaha. Also, Gilmore Girls ❀ I want to watch this so badly.
And Unfortunate Events sounds quite good, even if I don't know how to get used to… Barney Stinson hahaha.

  5. Beauty and the Beast looks SO GOOD! It’s a MUST for next year!
Before I Fall looks good too, I didn’t like the book at all, I gave it 2 stars and found it pretty boring but the movie…I might give it a try (something I didn’t thought I would do)
I loved the movie A Series of Unfortunate Events and now I’m so excited for this tv show though now I’m thinking of reading the books. I think there will be a read-along or something like that I’m planning to join

  6. I had no idea there was a movie coming out for Before I Fall! I’m excited for it now – even though I didn’t love the book, I always like watching book-to-movie adaptions of books I have read xD
AND YAY FOR THE SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS! Loved the books when I was younger…so I’m super excited to relive my childhood! :’)
