I intended for this post to be more of an info for you, so you would know which books I currently have at home (as a physical copy or ebook). However, then I realised that would be a ton of unread books and I don’t even want to put the pressure on me to read them all. Therefore, here is a selection of what I might choose to read this month. I hope you all got that me being super vague about this meant, no promises!
- The Animators by Kayla Rae Whitaker
- Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
- Blood for Blood by Ryan Graudin
- Witch’s Pyre by Josephine Angelini
- Gemina by Amie Kaufman/Jay Kristoff
- Heartless by Marissa Meyer
Click on the covers to get redirected to Goodreads! I sure have a ton of sequels on my list this month. What are you reading this month? Tell me all about it!
Great list Kat! I have Gemini, Crooked Kingdom, and Heartless on my list as well.

I just read Crooked Kingdom last month and it was beautiful. Although it killed me a little.

I keep hearing that, which makes me a little afraid to be honest.

The particular scene that everyone is referring to is heartbreaking but not devastating. I did cry though. 😭

Okay .. okay … that still doesn’t feel reassuring 😭

Bahahahah definitely understand the need to be vague. Who the hell knows what you might end up reading throughout the month right? I mean.. it could end up being something that didn’t even make the list! 😛 Hope whatever you decide to read will be amazing! (READ CROOKED KINGDOM AND SHARE YOUR LOVE FOR IT WITH US *COUGH*) Happy reading! 🙂

Also … this month has Christmas and I EXPECT my family to shower me with books. There is no way to know if I wouldn’t dive right into those or not.
There will definitely be a flailing review for CK!!! SO DEFINITELY!

Oh, I should have made the “no promise” heads-up in my December TBR as well! 😀
Happy reading, Kat!

Hahaha I like to put that disclaimer on months where I have no buddy reads scheduled, simply because I tend to change my mind a lot. Also, it’s Christmas, so who knows which books I might get?

Ohhhh you’re planning on reading Gemina this month?? Maybe we can read it together at some point ? 😀 – if I manage to convince my sister to place a bookish order for me hahaha.
Happy reading, Kat! ❤

Sure! Just let me know when you want to read it and we can figure something out. I am not in that much of a hurry because I have quite a lot of books lying around ahaha (btw, Cátia ordered A Million Worlds With You the other day, just thought I’d let you know)

Oh well I’ll let you know for sure then! I might order this weekend, so it’ll be here next week,so maybe the week after that? I’ll let you know! 🙂
And thank you! I think it’s still out of stock at the moment 😦 I’ll see if it’s back and I’ll tell you 😀

Yeah, no worries!! Whenever is fine 🙂
Where are you ordering? Because Cátia said it was only out of stock for 2 days on the Book Depository.

This is a great list Kat! 😀 I’ve read and loved Crooked Kingdom (!!!) and Gemina and I’m also going to read Heartless after I’m done with my current read. Btw that Owlcrate version of Heartless is sooo gorgeous I wish they sell it in the bookstore haha

Yay! Happy to hear you liked those books, most people seem to, so I am really optimistic about my reading plans.
And YES to that Owlcrate edition. I am so in love with it.

Heartless was so good 🌸😊 I really want to read Wolf by Wolf and Blood for Blood – I keep hearing so many good things 😊

YES, PLEASE READ THEM!!!! I mean, my opinion on Blood for Blood is still very non-based on facts hahaha but I adored Wolf by Wolf and I am a very tough sell for WWII inspired stories.

That sounds like a good reading plan! I loved Six of Crows so much!

Well, I recently read the Grisha trilogy which I wanted to read first because they are set in the same world … and I ordered six of Crows the other day 🙂 so I can’t wait to jump on the bandwagon

I haven’t read the Grisha books, but I don’t think I will now. But you have the advantage of not getting confused with orders and places in SoC!

That’s true 🙂 I’d had the Grisha trilogy on my TBR for ages and when unnoticed that Six of Crows was set in the same world i thought it might just make sense to read them first… especially because they had been on my kindle for months
