Trailers You Might Have Missed (Nov 28 – Dec 4)

This week was exhausting, especially toady. So, it is late, I am beat, these are the trailers I found!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

The Mummy (Teaser)

This doesn’t have anything to do with the previous Mummy franchise, right? Because Tom Cruise would not fit into that.

The Shack

I have not read the book. I have no opinion about it. I actually had to google that stuff to understand the trailer.

TV Shows

This show looks like book aesthetics strung together to create motion. I wanna watch it!

Sherlock (Season 4)

This better be good considering the wait.

Emerald City

It’s coming soon and it doesn’t look anything like Oz, but whatevs.

Nashville (Season 5)

So, I guess Juliette won’t die … right?

Big Little Lies

Uhm, that cast does not look like a TV show kind of cast …

What are you going to watch? What are you watching right now? Let’s talk!

  1. To answer your question about the Mummy trailer, no, it’s an entirely new series, the launching pad for the new Universal Monsters Cinematic Universe (there was talk that Dracula Rising would be the start for that series, but considering how it did at the box office and with critics, it doesn’t seem likely). There was supposed to be a longer trailer released today, but I haven’t been able to find it, so maybe that was just a rumor I heard.
And I love the Guardians trailer too. It’s going to be such a funny movie! And it’s so typical of Rocket to put a blow-up-the-planet button on a device, even though he doesn’t want anyone to push it. The lovable little psycho!

  2. AH this is my absolute favourite thing that you do on your blog, I feel so caught up and in the loop even though I don’t even watch many tv shows !!! I feel like I’ll never miss a new movie trailer 😀

  3. I won’t be seeing The Shack. I haven’t read that book and won’t. 😦 I don’t think I could handle the subject matter. Too close to my heart having a little kiddo. I’ve heard great things about it, though.

  4. That Mummy reboot is actually part of this new Universal Monsters Universe they’re doing. My nostalgia feelz make me praise the original movie, but even with that aside, this reboot really doesn’t look great… It has this odd Mission Impossible vibe to it and the way they did the trailer was really lame!! Oh, but.. #BABYGROOT thouuughh 😀 😀

  5. hahaha oh wow the guardians of the galaxy trailer looks so good. And Sleight looks intriguing. I get what you mean about Riverdale, but most of my reaction was just “what on earth was that about?”
Also, off topic but I caught up on the crossovers- it was fun to binge- and I particularly liked Monel in the Supergirl episode- but now we’ve got to wait ages for more :/

  6. Tom Cruise and the Mummy? No thank you. The trailer didn’t impress me at all. I’d rather stick to the original franchise.
BABY GROOT ❤ He is the cutest thing in existence. I want one haha. The end of the trailer also made me chuckle. I can't wait to see this film.
