At this point I feel like you know me. Tags either inspire me right away or get an all inclusive stay in my drafts. However, Fadwa @Word Wonders tried her luck and succeeded in catching my attention for The Blogger Aesthetic Tag (created by the ever awesome Liam @Hey Ashers). Check out what it’s all about:
Bloggers are (let’s just be honest here) the absolute best. There’s so much diversity and personality and creativity in this community—and what better way to celebrate those things than by spending the next twelve hours of our lives hunting down and collaging the images that best reflect our individual awesomeness?
The Rules:
- Collect any number of images that you feel represent you as a person—your personality, aspirations, favorite things, anything at all that makes you you.
- Put your chosen images together into a collage of whatever size and shape you find pleasing.
- Share your masterpiece with everyone, in all the places.
- Maybe nominate other bloggers as a way to tell them, “Hey, you, I think you’re awesome, and we should celebrate that awesomeness.”
- Share these rules (and maybe the below tips, if you’re feeling helpful).
Tips:
- Find inspiration by spending (minimum) three hours scrolling through aesthetic Tumblr posts relevant to you.
- Two great places to hunt for pictures are Pinterest and WeHeartIt. Pinterest requires an account; WeHeartIt does not.
- PicMonkey’s collage editor is free to use and doesn’t require an account, heck yes. YouTube has plenty of tutorials on how to use it; I watched this one (which begins with tips on how to find decent photos).
My Aesthetic:
My Nominees:
- Ali @The Bandar Blog
- Cátia @The Girl Who Read Too Much
- Cristina @My Tiny Obsessions
- Lois @My Midnight Musing
- Morgan @The Rose Quartz
What do you think about my aesthetic? Should I have put in a guide/explanation?
I think you should explain… 😜

😛 well, if you insist.
The things I chose are not so much all I am, but things I like. I mean, Eleanor looks like a badass stabby character right there. The gate is from Emerald City, but it also represents the castles I like to visit. I like big stone structures, they calm me. Also, there are things that I keep very guarded, so having a closed gate made sense to me.
Wolves are generally awesome and gorgeous animals.
I asked my mum what she associated with me and after a while she said dogs and my bed, so I found a picture of a bed with a dog on it.
That waterfall is from Oregon, my second love hahaha but there is also something really calming about forests. I like them.
And the girl covered in a blanket with tea and a book – basically me. I prefer cold weather and TEA!
Then there’s the colour scheme, which are just colours I love.
DONE!
Good explanation?

Thanks for the nomination!! I have seen these tags and they always seem so tricky to me – I have no idea how I’d choose. I will spend some time on tumblr and see XD

These pictures are gorgeous! I love the combination of, like, calm and strength and mysteriousness and comfort. This has to be one of my favorites I’ve seen so far; makes me want to write a character based on it. =)

Thank you so, so much! Your comment has me flailing over here for sure. 😳 If that’s what you see, then it perfectly conveys what I wanted. And to maybe even inspire a character, that is just beyond amazing.

Okay so… Liam and Marie left me naught to say WHICH IS UNFAIR BECAUSE I LOVE THIS SO MUCH 😭
It isso beautiful and I feel like it represents you perfectly, I had a feeling it would look like this.
I told you yesterday that you were being way too modest and that your aesthetic would rock, I KNEW IT ❤

Oh girl, you still said all the right words ❤
I am rather modest thank flunk hahaha but maybe I should embrace my awesomeness more often, because I rock and so do you! Thanks again for tagging me. This was really fun!

Well, I already explained it in an above comment, but here we go again. (from top to bottom, left to right)
Eleanor Tomlinson is not just cool, she looks kind of like a strong woman and a stabby pirate character in that image. That’s my kind of character and the ones I like to read about or watch.
The gate is from Emerald City, but it also represents that I am guarded about certain things, because it’s closed. Also, I like old stone buildings. Their walls give me comfort.
Wolves are cool, no explanation necessary.
When I asked my mum what she associated with me, she said dogs and my bed, so I looked for an image with a bed and a dog in it.
The girl covered in the blanket, reading and drinking tea – that’s just me in my natural habitat (but, like, it’s not actual me in that photo)
And lastly, I like forests and I found this image of a small waterfall in Oregon. Oregon is my second love, so it was only fitting to be in that collage as well.
DONE!

My tags always seem to be piling up but I love the concept of this tag and I can easily waste a day on pinterest doing “research” for this post haha. Your aesthetic looks so calming and relaxing. I love the Wolf. I feel like they’re my spirit animal cause they’re so majestic but fierce as well.

Yeah, I did it in a couple of hours otherwise it would have rotten away with my other undone tags as well. I hope you’ll have fun with it, but seriously, no stressing from my side if you don’t end up doing it 😀
