Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Feb 20-26)

trailers

It’s the Oscars weekend! To my shame, I have to admit that I haven’t watched many of the films yet, except for Arrival, which I adored. So, upfront, which ones did you watch? Many of them are already on my to-watch-list! But enough about that. Here’s some new stuff:

Movies

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword

I am massively excited for this!

Beauty and the Beast (Clip)

Here’s your weekly dose of B&B to make the wait easier.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul

Those books are everywhere. It was one of the bestsellers no matter where I worked at.

Burning Sands

Not for me.

1 Mile to You

This looks really sad.

My Entire High School Sinking Into the Sea

This seems highly psychedelic and I wonder how much drugs the creators were on.

As You Are

Not sure about this one yet.

Atomica

So, that’s where Miss Grundy went off to.

TV Shows

Imaginary Mary

I still think this looks weird but funny.

Doctor Who (Series 10)

The first time you meet him, he’s grumpy – would have been my line. Let’s see where this final Moffat and Capaldi season is going, I am SO ready for the change.

What are you watching? What’s going on?

  1. King Arthur: First time seeing any actual footage for this, and it looks cool. Beauty and the Beast: Can’t wait! Burning Sands and Atomica: the latter looks kind of like my thing, but I’m not that interested. Imaginary Mary: looks really out there. Doctor Who: AAAAAAH! Bring it on!
Also, I saw this trailer for a movie called Devil in the Dark, and I thought it looked a little Blair Witch, but other than that, maybe it’ll be good.

    • Then you haven’t been paying attention my friend, because I featured the Arthur trailer before hahaha but it doesn’t matter. You saw it now.
I am not excited for Doctor Who at all at the moment. We will see if that season can bring back some of my enthusiasm for the show or not. 9 was better than 8, but it was still at an all time low for me.

  2. I cannot wait for King Arthur I keep rewatching trailers as though they will suddenly change! Not at all interested in Beauty & the Beast I didn’t like the animated version at all so the real life version holds no appeal.
Doctor Who I don’t like despite my geek status but they did film some near where I live for this season which I saw while I was out walking, of course having no idea it was the Doctor Who cast I was looking at until I sent a photo to a friend! πŸ˜‚

  3. King Arthur looks cool!! And I haven’t watched Dr Who in a really long time- but I miss it and that trailer was awesome! Oh and off topic- but thanks so much for that tip about Imposters- I did end up watching it and I absolutely *love* it- that bromance is everything (it got a squeal out of me in episode 2- which is probably a record for me)

  4. I didn’t know about King Arthur: Legend of the Sword but I want to watch it! More now that I’m reading a book that Arthur and Excalibur are very present.
oh, well, Miss Grundy is better there πŸ˜‚

  5. Every time I watch the King Arthur I get excited. To start, the Arthurian legends are a favourite of mine. However, the fact that even with the cgi I recognise the set locations they filmed at cause they’re literally on my doorstep. The downside is that I missed out on an opportunity to be an extra because I didn’t see the email about it until a week after they were at my university.

    • Arthurian legends are among my favourites as well, always have been πŸ˜€ It’s so sad that you missed that mail! It would have been such a fun experience. I am jealous that you even had the opportunity hahaha
