Let’s just do this really quick. This time tomorrow I will already be on a plane bound to Toronto, Canada. I’ve been talking about this for quite some time already, but now it is real – it is happening. In the unlikely event of you having missed all my previous rambles about it, I will stay in Canada for about 6 months (if immigration allows it – fingers crossed!). The first two weeks will be spent in Toronto and then I will move on to Ottawa and Montreal and finally pick my route all the way to Vancouver on the West Coast.
I don’t intend to go on an official hiatus during that time, but for the first 1.5-2 months, I will be traveling all around Canada until I’ll settle in a place of my liking.Β It’s not that I doubt that I will have access to the internet, but I just cannot guarantee how regularly and if I will have the time to be in front of my screen all that much. So, I definitely want to post travel/life updates (if you are interested?) and also something on my reading and writing progress if there’s anything noteworthy, but I simply cannot promise that regular features like my trailer posts will be an option during those first weeks. Maybe I am wrong and you’ll find all the usual stuff, but I just don’t want to guarantee it.
Aside from the blog, you can follow my adventure on Twitter, Instagram and I might even revive my Snapchat account: kat_impossible
That’s all from me! I’ll just put the last items in my suitcase now. Wish me luck!
Hope you have an amazing time!!

If you have the chance, you should most definitely do that! Do you have any particular destinations in mind?

I really want to do a roadtrip across America

Well, I hope you get to do that. I am more of a westcoast kinda girl, but I do want to see the South and especially New Orleans one day, so that would definitely be on my route.

I live in south western Ontario – about an hour away from Detroit and 3-4 hours from Toronto π

I am SO excited for you, Kat! I hope that you’ll be able to give us some travel updates through your blog, though, knowing me…I apologize because I already know I won’t be able to wait and I will be annoying you a lot all the time because I want to know everything ahah. Such an adventure, so lucky β€

Yes, please write travel posts on this (don’t you have a blog just for that?). And if you can make it down south to the USA, come visit me! I swear I won’t jump out of any doors wearing a creepy mask.

I don’t think I get to leave Canada and re-enter again, but I might have to check that again. Also, I discontinued my travel blog as well as all other blogs I had when I bought the domain for Life and Other Disasters. It just seemed to make more sense to use this for whatever I wanted to.

Hahaha I don’t know! I’ve always said it would be for a long time. But you can never know for sure, because the border officer decides upon arrival in the country for how long you really get to stay.
