I just saw off my cousin to the airport and it’s strange to think that she’s been here for two weeks. It feels like two days max, but what can you do? Time waits for no one. So, as a distraction, here are some more trailers!
Movies
Maze Runner: The Death Cure
I honestly forgot that there was another movie.
The Truth About Lies
Topher from Dollhouse always has my attention.
Crash Pad
I am so going to like this.
Father Figures
Okay, I guess.
Pitch Perfect 3
Is this the final one now?
Annihilation
NEED. TO. SEE. THIS! I mean … from the director of Ex Machina? It’s going to be a ride!!
Gotti
If I am in the right mood, I think I could enjoy this.
Acts of Vengeance
It’s just not my kind of movie
The Killing of a Sacred Deer
This is going to be majorly messed up, just like The Lobster. It’s decidedly too messed up for me. (I know, I have weird boundaries)
Bill Nye: Science Guy
Documentary of the week.
TV Shows
Our Girl (Season 3)
FINALLY
Once Upon a Time (Season 7)
Okay, the sit visits have worn me down. I am super excited by now, just because I need all the explanations.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Season 3)
I can’t believe they are telling me that Jericho Beach is supposed to be Aruba …….. like no.
The Librarians (Season 4)
SO EXCITED!
Arrow (Season 6)
It irks me so much that I never meet anyone on the Arrow sets.
Dynasty
I am guessing the show gets the Riverdale treatment, where episodes screen live on the CW and then get uploaded on Netflix. Smart.
That’s it for this week! What are you currently watching?
Yeah, I’m not going to see the new Maze Runner. After the second one, I was just so disappointed. However, the Bill Nye documentary looks legit. I’ll take it.
As for what I’m watching, I’ve been watching this goofy anime these past two weeks that always lightens my mood. I kind of wish I was the main character, because she gets to live with some dragons who help her with her housework, LOL. And speaking of anime, I got some anime movies from the library, one of which I may watch tonight or tomorrow night. And of course, I’m watching American Horror Story: Cult: Law & Order: SVU, and starting this week, Lucifer.

Looks like you have quite the busy TV schedule.

It usually gets this way from late September to May or so. Speaking of which, I have to remember to check out Marvel’s Inhumans on Hulu when I have a moment.

It wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t brilliant. It was like a feature film length kind of premiere and all I remember is that I loved Lockjaw and that Iwan Rheon will forever play villains now hahaha

I’m actually hesitant if I should watch it.

I definitely wouldn’t say it’s a must see (although they did an amazing job with my baby Lockjaw). I am much more excited about The Gifted for now.

Well, I’ll watch it tonight, and we’ll see what I think.

I might be the black sheep in all of this but I always thought that Pitch Perfect was way overhyped. I’m just bored of the franchise now. I forgot about the Maze Runner as well, dystopia books/films just don’t appeal to me much these days.
I still need to catch up with Arrow. I’m a full season behind!!! I’m sure you’ll run into them when you least expect it haha.

I think I’ve said it previously, but I am not a fan of the Pitch Perfect movies either and I don’t get why they keep making new ones.
I thought the Maze Runner books were terrible already, so I was never really pumped about the movies to begin with.
I kind of doubt I’ll run into Arrow. They shoot in very remote locations or in studio.

In disgust? Or out of fear? There’s a lot of possibilities haha

oh gosh yeah, I’ve completely forgotten about the maze runner movies by now- I kinda assumed they’d quit making them. More Pitch Perfect? Really? I gotta admit, I kinda wanna pick up on OUAT right now, even though I’ve skipped several seasons… And I’ve heard Arrow got good again, so tempted to do the same for that too… (yes, I know cardinal tv watching sin to skip series, but I don’t think I care anymore 😉 )

Dylan O’Brien got hurt on set and that’s why production and the release got postponed. I think they’d have put it out earlier otherwise.
I am so over Pitch Perfect … I didn’t even need the second movie.
OUAT will be fun in my opinion. I’ve loved hanging out on set and now some of the crew members know me hahaha I ran into one of them this weekend and she was like “okay, I have to run. See you on set!” I felt super accomplished.
I am not judging too much with the skipping of seasons. I did start Doctor Who with Matt Smith after all, but you might be a bit confused about who’s who and why they are where they are if you just jump back to Arrow now. It’s up to you though!
