The last day of October has come and gone. My last day in Vancouver has come and gone. I feel like I just arrived here a week ago and now all I have left is one week in Toronto. Life is strange sometimes. For the first time in a long time, I actually managed to read something last month AND wrote a review. I know, it was a shock to me as well.

I don’t think my brain has fully realised that it’s not in Vancouver anymore or the fact that it won’t be there again for a considerable amount of time. Anyway, coming back to Toronto was nice. (I literally ran into a set upon arriving downtown … It didn’t even take me 5 minutes) It felt familiar and a little like home in a way too. I know my way around and I know how things work, that is just always so much less stress than in an entirely new place. I doubt I will do very much, this is more of a time to rest and get my wits together before returning back to Vienna.
Before leaving Vancouver, I tried to cram in as many sets as possible and I managed to do that quite alright. I think I’ve seen everyone from the Arrowverse at least a couple times now. I also feel like I ran into more people on the streets, which is super strange. What do you say? What do you do? If you are me, probably nothing because you are too shy/embarrassed/frozen in place. However, I did manage to meet Rahul Kohli and Rob Raco and take pictures with them. Yay!
My friend and I also got to attend a Riverdale event in Vancouver, where they gave out free Betty and Veronica (vanilla and chocolate) milkshakes to fans. Marisol was there, she plays Veronica’s mum, and we got the chance to dress up in Riverdale attire. It was a lot of waiting around, but since we were pretty much among the first 50 people to get in, it also a lot of fun.
Lastly, I just want to express my deep, deep love for Stranger Things! My entire camera roll is currently pictures of Steve, Hopper or the kids. I can’t even tell who I like best, because I like them all so much. Who would have thought that I would be the one to fall for a scary show?

I love the CW, so all your these pictures are really exciting for me.

Glad you find it exciting! I think I’ve mostly been to CW sets while in Vancouver. They film 80% of their shows there, so it makes sense.

I feel like you got in Vancouver just last week as well. I remember your preparations and your excitment and everything else like it was yesterday. That’s just SO weird. I hope you’ll have great times to end your stay here in Toronto, Kat ❤ ❤ Also, I know you'll be back in Vancouver, hopefully soon, if it's the place for you ❤ ❤
And YAY for writing that review and finishing the book – that's so GREAT! Does this mean you're done with your reading slump, or slowly getting back into it? 🙂

Right? I remember getting off the plane like it was just yesterday. WHERE IS ALL MY TIME GOING!? WHAT IS HAPPENING?!???!
I don’t think my slump is over, however, I do think I will read more once I am back in Vienna. My Goodreads goal still won’t be met.

Oh yay! Well, as long as you find your love for reading back, that’s good 🙂 ❤

I wouldn’t say it is back yet, but again, maybe once I am in Vienna and I need distractions. Btw, are you doing NaNo this year?

Well… I said I would do it to try and edit my WIP. It’s November 4th and I haven’t had time to open my Word doc yet, so… I’m thinking…. probably won’t be able to edit a single thing hahaha. I’m also stressed out about it so that doesn’t help. Are you trying to write again? 🙂

Maybe it’s better if you let it sit for a bit longer. You didn’t finish it that long ago and you’re supposed to have a resting period for you to forget stuff and be able to edit with a fresh mind?
I am working on Arcadia, mostly plotting, but not necessarily within the confines of NaNo.

Yeah, I know… but I’m just, itching to DO something. I’m not writing anything else. I’m just scared to get back into what happened to me before 2015: just…don’t write any.single.thing.for.over.three.years. That sucked and I’m scared not to be able to write anything anymore?! If that makes sense, ahha.
YAY!! I’m so glad you’re working on Arcadia again. I hope it’s going well? Will you be posting more chapters soon? 😀

You could do writing prompts that don’t have to be a story but inspire one in the meantime, while you wait for editing.?Believe, it’s really better to get a little bit of space before you start the next stage.
Uuuuh, someone’s eager to read new chapters. I can’t promise anything. This chapter has proven to be a nightmare, but it shouldn’t take too much longer. Unfortunately I am a linear writer and can’t switch between chapters

Yes, maybe I’ll just do that. I’m just feeling so…restless, in a way, ahah 🙂
I hope you’ll manage to finish your chapter alright, Kat! Is the plotting going well? ❤

I totally get it. I have this itch in the tips of my fingers, but the writing just isn’t going too well.
Hmm … the plotting is sub par. I would break it down to you, the thing I am having the issue with, but 1) I’d spoil you for the rest of the book and 2) it’s quite lengthy.

Ohh okay, damn. Well…if you ever need to rant about it all anyway – in a coded way or something haha -, you know where to find me 😛

So, Vancouver about 5 months but I came to Canada a month before arriving in Vancouver. Maybe it’s like a week up or down, but in total it will have been almost 6 months. I am not really ready to leave haha

Honestly glad that you’ve had so much fun and met so many actors! I honestly wouldn’t know what I’d say if I were to see the cast of Arrow or even the kids of Stranger Things in front of me. I do hope you’ll have a safe trip back to Vienna and won’t be too sad about distancing yourself from Canada!! 😀

I think I saw everyone from the whole Arrowverse at least once, but there isn’t really much to say. Even if you get to meet them briefly, there’s maybe time for one sentence or something. There are other sets where you can get more words in ahahaha

Oh my goodness by now I think you’ve already left Canada! I hope you’re adjusting well and that all in all you had a great time 🙂 I love your face in that Stranger Things poster haha
