It’s been pretty quiet around here and that’s because I was travelling back to Vienna and have been home for a couple days now. The jetlag isn’t too bad, but I still get incredibly tired during the day and super awake at night, which is unfortunate.
Movies
Game Night
This seems dumb, in a fun way?
Early Man
I always wonder how long it takes to make movies like that if they don’t animate but use real materials.
Peter Rabbit
Domhnall, don’t hurt them!
Sherlock Gnomes
Can’t believe there is a gnomes sequel…
The Post
Stellar cast, eh?
Forever My Girl
These country star movies are kinda sweet.
Hollow in the Land
Not sure this is my cup of tea.
Fifty Shades Freed
How did so many people watch this? How did they seriously get to make all the sequels? I just don’t understand.
Blame
Seems intense and scandalous enough for me.
Stratton
Seems pretty standard spy stuff.
The Shape of Water
I have shown trailers for this before, but I am still so excited to watch it.
Hostiles
In the spirit of last week, the western genre is having a revival.
TV Shows
The Crown (Season 2)
I think this is the last season with that actress as the queen before they get someone older to account for the time jumps.
Dark
Kinda like seeing German material on Netflix go online worldwide.
How are you doing? What are you watching? Who else is psyched for The Punisher coming this week?
I’m excited for The Shape of Water and The Dark (the latter on my Netflix queue). BTW, I saw a trailer for an animated Batman film earlier this week, and I’m like, “Wanna watch! Wanna watch!”

I am not really into animated superhero stuff.

That is enough to make me cry.
Kidding, of course. To each their own.

Ugh, Fifty Shades. Why is this franchise still around?
I completely forgot about the Peter Rabbit film and it looks cute, not sure if I’ll watch it, but it seems like a film that will most likely end up being shown on TV after it’s release haha.
Every time I see a production using real materials I always think about Wallace and Gromit aka my favourite, but Early Man looks fun.

I don’t know either. I am suspecting that they are making a massive amount of money, but seriously? Who even watches this?
Wallace and Gromit is the best. It looks like it was from the same production company.

Game Night looks hella dumb and fun! 😛 I’m not one to indulge comedy movies because… I don’t like the quality or the type of humour, but this one looks like something different, in a good way… Maybe not though. I’d still wait for a Netflix release or something to watch it hahah

Hahaha I totally get it. I like comedies, but I rarely go see them in movie theatres.

hehe Game Night does look fun (in a dumb way). And Peter Rabbit actually looks so great (because I’m a massive child at heart and I love Beatrix Potter characters!!) I don’t even understand about 50 Shades- I don’t know why it was a thing, I don’t know why it’s still a thing- I just don’t get it!! Yay the Crown is nearly back!!

I don’t know why, but I am not convinced about Peter Rabbit yet, but I also didn’t grow up with those kind of stories.
How do you feel about the upcoming change of main actress in the Crown?

hehe fair enough- it doesn’t look very faithful to the stories BUT I love the stories so much that basically the rabbit wearing a blue jacket makes me automatically nostalgic 😉
Hmm I really like the actress- but I’m not fond of Matt Smith as the Duke- so I wouldn’t mind a change of cast there- plus it makes sense considering the time jumps. How about you?

I still haven’t watched the Crown, I just never really was in the right mood for it. I usually tend to not like cast changes and time jumps though. There’s just no good way to do either.

hehe fair enough! That’s very true! I have no idea- I guess it might just feel like a different tv show I reckon
