Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Dec 11-17)

I can’t believe there’s only one week until Christmas and another one after that we are already facing the new year! I am not sure I am ready for that yet! Anyway, trailers – we all want trailers!

Every Day

Who has read the book? I did and I always wanted a sequel and now I am scared the movie is going to end on the same note and what am I going to do then?

Ready Player One

This movie is gonna be hella overwhelming visually and I am really looking forward to that.

It spooks me, but I feel like I HAVE to see it. My favorite comment for this on YouTube was “Wow Poe Dameron and Padme Amidala Plot twist of The Last Jedi”

The Clapper

Not sure I see the chemistry between Amanda and Ed …

Everything Beautiful is Far Away

Well, this is something.

Saturday Church

I bet this is going to be super emotional.

The 15:17 to Paris Train

Uhm … so this really happened and the people it happened to are playing themselves in the movie. That is a first, I guess?

Christmas Inheritance

It’s Clarke from the 100! Look at all the CW stars doing Christmas movies, but I am sad she probably won’t end up with Michael Xavier.

The Polka King

Uhm .. okay?

TV Shows

Doctor Who Christmas Special 2017

This reminds me that I never finished S10 …

Fuller House (Season 3B)

The Resident

Do I need another medical drama in my life? No, but … Manish Dayal!

Divorce (Season 2)

I honestly didn’t watch the first season.

This is it! How are you doing? What are you watching?

  1. I haven’t read the Every Day book, but I’d watch that movie – and read the book for sure, it sounds like my kind of thing, I don’t know why haha 🙂 Did you like the book overall, despite… that ending, I guess? 😛

    • Hmmm … let me think. I thought the concept of Every Day was extraordinary and I even did a project on it in uni, but I also found it deeply unsatisfying. Like the action and the real story only started at the end of the book. Then they said they’d do a sequel and they released “Another Day” and I didn’t even read it because it wasn’t a sequel but the first book from another perspective, aka the POV of the person I liked the least. I read pretty much all the David Levithan books and this one did stand out, but it is not among my faves.

      • Oh damn… so they announced a sequel and they never really did a proper sequel? That’s annoying :/
I hope that the movie will be great, though and maybe with a good ending this time? 😛

      • This year they announced they’d do a real sequel … I don’t trust them anymore hahaha and I also don’t think the movie is gonna end super satisfying. The very nature of the main character is that they don’t identify with a gender or body and to give this movie an end, might just compromise that very idea, you know?

      • Haha I get it.
Oh yes, you’re right about that … but you gotta give the people their happy ending, so… I don’t know ahah, but I’m really curious to see this. And maybe read the book 🙂

  2. Speaking of Ready Player One, I just got to the part where Wade has gotten out of IOI’s headquarters and has met up with his friends. I am really enjoying this novel. Not to mention reading things I have personal experience with, like Ohio State and High Street, being mentioned in the novel.
And as for Annihilation, I’ll read the book first, then go see the movie.
