This week has messed with my inner clock a little bit and also with the time I posted on the blog. I hope to get back to something a tiny bit more regulated in the upcoming weeks, but let me tell you, my schedule is beyond packed and I am just not used to it anymore. Anyhow, you can count on your weekly dose of trailers, so here they are!
Movies
Mary Poppins Returns
I love the look of this so much, I cannot handle the excitement!
Christopher Robin
Didn’t Goodbye Christopher Robin JUST come out? Is there some kind of Winnie the Pooh anniversary I am not aware of?
Tully
I am always in awe of the transformations Charlize goes through for movies.
The Seagull
Is it just me or is the voice over making this look cheaper than it probably is? It feels outdated.
The Grinch
It’s too early for Christmas related movies for me.
Boss Baby: Back in Business
There is a sequel? ALREADY!?
Borg vs. McEnroe
Well, well, Shia hasn’t been on the big screen in a while.
The House of Tomorrow
Asa’s roles always seem a tiny bit similar to each other. I mean, wasn’t he just secluded on Mars for the last movie?
First Match
I sure hope she swims and doesn’t sink.
The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter
Hmm … this doesn’t give me enough to guess whether I’d watch it or not.
Take Your Pills
Documentary of the week.
TV Shows
Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events (Season 2)
It looks so good and I cannot wait for the Baudelaires to work with the Quagmire triplets.
Lost in Space
The production value of this looks amazing.
Luke Cage (Season 2)
Not gonna lie, I’d rather have Daredevil S3 but at least this looks a tiny bit more fast paced than the first season.
Santa Clarita Diet (Season 2)
I still haven’t watched the first one. I am just not that big on zombie stuff.
Vida
I love the look of this. Damn Starz for always making their shows look pretty.
Killing Eve
Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer – sign me up!
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
I needed that show back like a lot a lot.
Legion (Season 2)
This show is such a mind-bender.
Timeless (Season 2)
Lyatt is rising!
That’s it for this week! What are you watching? How are you doing? Let’s chat!
“Is Tully related to Sully (film)?” My first thoughts, truly.

LOL! I think that a lot of people asked themselves that as I have seen that comment on youtube when the first teaser came out. My thoughts are that it’s completely unrelated.

Thoughts:
1. Mary Poppins Returns: I’ll have to rewatch the original at some point.
2. Christopher Robin: This is a thing. And that line of wrinkles made me laugh.
3. The Grinch: Going to call it now, it’s going to suck.
4. Boss Baby 2: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
5. A Series of Unfortunate Events: Yes! And I should have enough time before it comes out to finish Jessica Jones season 2
6. Lost in Space: Still undecided on this one.
7. Luke Cage: This, Cloak & Dagger, and Castle Rock are going to be my shows for the summer.

1. I have the original on DVD. Mary Poppins is so cool.
2. It was a good line.
3. I know. It doesn’t look good.
4. same
5. I still haven’t started JJ S2. I’ve been too busy.
6. I like the look of it.
7. Luke Cage was soooo boring in the first season though …

I did a whole rant on the Grinch character on Facebook, and why the first impression from the trailer doesn’t sit well with me. It was epic.

I know I’ve probably said this so many times but I can’t WAIT for ASOUE (just two more weeks, eek)! And yess, I’m so excited for Timeless. Can’t wait to see what season 2 holds!

You can keep saying it as often as you like! I am also really excited for it 😀

I am always happy to hear it 😀 Vida DOES look amazing! Starz usually has very stellar shows.

I don’t know if I’ve seen any Starz shows before, but that sounds promising 🙂

I am trying to think of some I could recommend. American Gods, The Girlfriend Experience (Season 1) and Flesh and Bone are all very brilliant.

B99 and Timeless are back yesssssssss this is the perfect reminder! I’ve been super spacey and reading more than watching tv, but I’m READY for them to come back now that I’ve been reminded they’re happening. I still remember my jaw actually dropping at the Timeless finale, and then the disbelief when it was cancelled, and then the disbelief when it was UNCANCELLED.
What a rollercoaster ride, holy smokes.

Timeless sure had a wild ride last year! I am glad fans can change a networks opinion like that, I just wish it happened more often.

Legion is just going to mess with my head again. I had to concentrate so hard on the first one that I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get into the flow of the second series quicker haha. I’m not the biggest Mary Poppins fan, but I do like the look of this one here. As for the Grinch, Jim Carrey’s version is a favourite of mine so here’s hoping this new one delivers the goods.

Legion is a wild ride, which is why I still haven’t finished the first season hahaha
I looove Marry Poppins. I even have it on DVD, but I wouldn’t be able to tell you why. I think I just always liked the part where they went INTO the paintings.
And I wouldn’t hold my breath for that version of the Grinch. It doesn’t look very convincing to me

I say I’ve finished the series, but I’m watching it again with my brother and now I see that I actually skipped an episode. No wonder I was so confused haha.

I didn’t know they were making a movie of the Seagull! I hope it’s good. But the voiceover in the trailer…. just no. It makes it feel like a really dumb made for TV movie.
I’m so excited for Season 2 of Series of Unfortunate events!!! I was pleasantly surprised by how good Season 1 was and I’m hoping Season 2 will be just as good.

Yeah … I am a bit disappointed in the cheap look of the Seagull trailer. It doesn’t necessarily say anything about the movie, because the cast is really stellar, but still …
I have a good feeling about A Series of Unfortunate Events though! 😊

YAY!! MARY POPPINS RETURNS!!! I mean, a little part of me is worried they’re gonna ruin my childhood, but IT LOOKS SO GOOD AND I’M JUST EXCITED!! Aww that Christopher Robin trailer was so cute- but yeah, what’s with all the focus on Winnie Pooh? (I don’t mind, another childhood favourite, but seems like a funny coincidence) Yeah that voiceover does make it sound dated- I only ever see that in older trailers, I’d never have realised it was a new release. I saw the trailer for the Grinch earlier in the week and was just… confused- I mean, I know it’s not coming out now, but it feels like the wrong time of the year for the trailer. I didn’t want to see the first Boss Baby- zero desire to see the second. Legion is such a mindbender (but so good!!)

It’s surely not going to be like the old Mary Poppins, but Emily Blunt and Lin Manuel Miranda is a goooood sign.
I am just not into the Grinch or Boss Baby at all. So not necessary.
