Trailers You Might Have Missed … (June 11-17)

I had a really busy week this time around, which made it go by even quicker. There was a fun game night, a movie premiere, answering all your super interesting questions for my Q&A and much more. But today you all came here for trailers, so you shall get them!

I don’t know if I ever wanted or needed a live action remake of Dumbo. It’s just strange and sad and why is everything getting a live action remake with super eerie music?

The Grinch

Is it bad that I am not in for this?

Little Women

There’s a bunch of Little Women adaptations recently. Am I the only one noticing that?

Yeah, no! I am just not on board with the voice over guy narrating the trailer again. That is so 90s?

The Little Stranger

This is just creepy af

Broken Star

That girl is broken indeed.

Half the Picture

Documentary of the week.

TV Shows

The Outpost

This looks like Shannara Chronicles meets the 100 (really meaning the looks not the story). I don’t know if something like it can last on the CW.

Kiss Me First

I like the concept of this, but I wish the animation in the virtual reality would look different.

Wynonna Earp (Season 3)

If you don’t watch this show, I don’t even know what to say.

Glow (Season 2)

I liked the first season so much more than I thought I would. I am really looking forward to more.

Killjoys (Season 4)

I don’t mean to bash Killjoys in any way, but I just don’t understand how this (and Van Helsing) got another season while Dark Matter was killed … I mean cancelled. It just feels arbitrary.

Suits (Season 8)

Not feeling Katherine Heigl … but props for getting to season 8. Not many shows manage that these days.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan

I am honestly always amazed at how amazing John Krasinski is. Definitely prefer him in the role over Tom Cruise.

Jim Carrey is really aiming for a comeback.

What do you think? Is there anything in the mix for you? Let’s chat!

  1. Thoughts:
    1. Dumbo: I only saw this movie once in my life, and I don’t remember caring for it. I don’t think I’ll see this.
    2. The Grinch: Don’t worry, I’m not into it either. I object to portraying the Grinch as a comical character over an intimidating character who gets a heart later.
    3. Alpha; Looks cute.
    4. The Little Stranger: Ooh! Intrigued.
    5. Broken Star: I’ll pass.

Also, the trailer for The Nun made me jump two feet in the air. And Lucifer’s back! Oh yeah! Doing a dance right now! You can’t see it, but it’s very silly and full of joy.

    • Dumbo definitely was one of the sadder ones, but this one looks like there are more humans that care about Dumbo than in the animated version. I could be terribly wrong. I haven’t seen it in years haha
