Hello again, everyone! I am so happy to keep receiving messages that these posts help a lot of people to stay on top of their to-watch-list as well as introducing them to new things they might actually have missed. That is exactly why I keep doing them! However, in a week exactly, I am traveling to Berlin and I just want to give everyone a heads up that it might be (for the first time in 2+ years) that I miss a Sunday post. I just don’t know yet, but I will try to upload something as per usual. Here we go for this week:
Movies
Next Gen
It feels like a mix between Big Hero 6 and Wall-e?
Ralph Breaks the Internet (Sneak Peek)
After Everything
Hannah Marks (Amanda from Dirk Gently) directed this and it looks like such an amazing flick!
What Men Want
I am usually really tired of all the reboots and remakes, but dang, that looks like such a fun genderswapped version of What a Woman Wants.
Widows
I already loved the first trailer, but it just keeps on looking more badass. That cast is just to die for!
Green Book
Not two actors I would have expected to see working together so well, but I like the look of it.
ROMA
It looks beautiful, but I am not going to pretend to understand what’s happening.
The Oath
I saw a lot of comedians on my Twitter TL recommend this, but I am so confused about this movie.
The Happytime Murders
I am going to pass on this one.
The Last Sharknado
How on earth did this franchise get 6 movies!?
TV Shows
Tell Me a Story
A dark, twisted and modern take on fairy tales – count me in!!
Good Trouble (The Fosters spin-off)
I never finished The Fosters, so I have no idea what to expect from this.
Marvel’s Runaways (Season 2)
CANNOT WAIT!
The Gifted (Season 2)
Similarily cannot wait!
Iron Fist (Season 2)
To be fair, it does look worlds better than S1.
Empire (Season 5)
Star (Season 3)
Ugh, I hate when there is no new material in the promo at all.
The Resident (Season 2)
What are you watching? What has caught your eye? Let’s talk about it!
What Men Want looks so fun! I love Taraji P. Henson!

These posts help SO much, seriously I’d never ever be on track with anything if it weren’t for these (and your messages, too) 😀
I watched The Fosters, but I don’t know how I feel about that spin-off just yet. I just… REALLY don’t like Callie hahaha, I love Marianna though and I’m excited to see more of her as a young adult and going through the motions. I guess I’ll still watch it haha 🙂 I’m disappointed that it’s not that much of a promo and we don’t see loads of things happening haha. Thank you so much for sharing!! ❤ ❤

I think I had a longer trailer for the Fosters spin-off, but it was deleted from youtube and now I can’t find it anymore. It showed some stuff in court? I don’t even know. I think Callie might work as a paralegal or something? I am definitely not an authority on that show haha

Oh damn it, that’s too bad haha. Yeah I guess that could happen haha. I’m curious to see what happens next, but I’m not holding my breath for it either haha

1. Happytime Murders: I’ll probably see it. Call it morbid curiosity.
2. Tell Me a Story: Reminds me of Grimm or Once Upon a Time.
3. Iron Fist: Should be fun.
4. Runaways: December? That’s earlier than I expected. I’m happy right now.

I just don’t really care for Melissa McCarthy movies to begin with and the puppets don’t intrigue me either …
Why does everyone keep saying that about the release date of the Runaways? Shows usually take around a year to return unless something goes wrong.

Great minds think alike?

Since I was the one expecting Runaways to be on this year, I don’t think that saying works.

Good point. Hadn’t thought of that.

Widows sound super badass, and I really like the animation in Next Gen – hopefully it won’t be a little too similar to Big Hero 6.

Yeah, I hope it isn’t too similar either. But it looks cute!

Oh that really reminds me that I have yet to watch Marvel’s Runaways and the Gifted 😱 I hope you have a great time in Berlin!! (I’m also going to work my way to all your movie/TV posts to finally finish my masterlist of what I want to watch 💕)

I love Runaways and the Gifted, but then I am a total 100% Marvel girl haha And thanks so much! I am really looking forward to getting to explore Berlin and starting work.

I had no idea they were up to 6 of those Sharknado movies. One wasn’t enough?

I really, really don’t know how this became such a stupid phenomenon.

Ooh, it’s awesome to know that Wreck-it Ralph 2 is created by those who made Zootopia! The latter was one of the best animated movies I’d seen in years, so I’m officially excited. And lol, I love the ending bit of that trailer! “We can’t understand her; she’s from the other studio.” 😂

I am so excited for that movie! It looks hilarious and yep, that last line totally got me as well.

I didn’t even know that Next Gen existed but now that I do, I am definitely watching it with my friends! Also After Everything sounds really cute and heartbreaking at the same time. Green Book looks good as well. I’ve never watched Wreck It Ralph so I guess I should watch that first XD. You’re good on skipping out The Happytime Murders. My friend watched it and he said that the execution wasn’t great and plus for me it’s just weird. I don’t want to see the Muppets in that light. It’s weird. Also I feel The Oath is supposed to be like political satire and I’m not feeling the vibe. And Sharknado is literally just making money on the fact of how bad it is. Also fun fact: the main actor for Sharknado was one of the Worst Cooks of America. I don’t know if he got better though but he was there. I’m actually interested in seeing The Fosters now because of that spin off but I don’t know. I have a problem with committing to TV shows XD

I am glad you found something you want to watch! Wreck it Ralph was really sweet, I watched it with my parents who hate animated movies and they didn’t hate this one.
And good thing I am not missing out on the Happytime Murders. It just didn’t look appealing to me at all.

Yea I heard good things about Wreck It Ralph but when it came out, I just wasn’t in the mood. I have to watch it eventually. The Next Gen is definitely something that I’m going to watch because I mostly watch Disney related stuff and even though it’s not Disney, it’s along those lines. Thinking about the Happytime Murders is just making me cringe. Like I get why they would do it but like why..

I get that. I am sometimes not in the right mood either and then it just fizzles away until something (like a sequel) reminds me of its existence haha
