Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Oct 1-7)

As of late, I always plan to do these posts earlier and then get completely sidetracked by something else on YouTube. I don’t even know why, but I got completely caught up into Shane’s series “The Mind of Jake Paul“, I just need the next part to release right away. That’s not why you are here though, so here’s the trailers I found:

Been So Long

I am not the person who is usually head over heels for musicals, but I NEED BEEN SO LONG IN MY LIFE! Michaela Coel is an actual acting goddess and I spotted George MacKay very briefly and he is so underrated.

Taron Egerton as Elton John was just bound to happen one day, their paths kept crossing. I think it’s interesting that they said this is going to be more like a fantasy musical?

Aquaman (Extended Look)

I usually have a tough time getting excited for DC and I am still hesitant now, but this looks fun. Still, it worries me that they feel the need to release such an extended video.

The Upside

NO! Why did they remake the Intouchables??

Wow, Christian Bale’s transformations never disappoint.

Robin Hood

I know some of you are worried about this movie after the whole King Arthur thing, but I have watched the movie and it’s not that bad. I may not be 100% impartial on the matter, but as soon as you get used to the modern look, this was overall a quite refreshing version of the tale.

Mary Queen of Scots

I am just glad they don’t use Margot-who-definitely-looks-like-the-Queen-of-Hearts in the thumbnail anymore.

The Mule

I am not the biggest Eastwood fan, but the man is 88 years old and still making movies. That’s impressive!

Welcome Home

This got creepier than I thought it would.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

I just keep being so in love with the animation of this!

TV Shows

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

It is like a complete 180 from the show I used to watch in my teens, but I am SO here for it! The show looks absolutely fantastic. I am still worried about a potential crossover, despite the Sabrina-Jughead-dynamic being my absolute favourite in the comics … but ugh … not with the other show. (Anyway, witches forever!)

Daredevil (Season 3)

I am not going to be able to contain myself! I am just going to ignore the fact that I haven’t watched S2 of Luke Cage and Iron Fist, because I need this much more. (Also, YAY for my beloved Karen Page to be back. Now I also need some news on Punisher S2 pretty please)

The Runaways (Season 2)

Honestly just so excited to see where they will go in this new season and if they will follow the comics or not, because if the answer is yes … I am worried for some of my faves.

American Gods (Season 2)

Season 1 was a wild ride, but that Mad Sweeney episode will forever be my favourite. Season 2 is looking mighty good as well.

Good Omens

I am so behind on reading Neil Gaiman books, but I can find plenty of reasons to still be super excited about this!

The Boys

Not sure what to think just yet.

There She Goes

Don’t we all just love David Tennant? So here’s some more of him.

Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat

I am always up for food shows.

Hopefully next week I’ll have some more trailers from the NYC Comic Con! What are you watching? How have you all been? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I feel like I may have to continue with Daredevil after all, I think I stopped watching it after episode two … but ahh Chilling Adventures of Sabrina looks so good! & I can’t wait for the new season of Runaways, the first season was way too short for my liking.

  2. Thoughts:
    1. Aquaman: Yeah, I’m excited but I don’t think an extended trailer bodes well for anyone.
    2. Robin Hood: Well, I trust your opinion. Maybe I’ll check it out.
    3. Into the Spider-Verse: I’ll probably see it as some point
    4. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: BRING IT ON!
    5. Daredevil: Oh yeah.
    6. Runaways: Screamed like a little girl (which was also my reaction when the new episode of Doctor Who started, BTW).

Also, loved the trailer for the new She-Ra series. It looks like it’s going to be so good!

  3. SABRINA! This really looks different, but I really like it, too?? This also sounds a little bit creepy at times ahah, but I think I’m going to watch it or give it a try because I’m curious? And hide behind covers because I don’t want to be too scared?? I don’t know haha.
And FOOD! That food show sounds like fun! πŸ˜€ Thank you for sharing these Kat ❀

  4. The Sabrina trailer had me squealing with glee throughout! I loved it and am SOOO excited for it!

I was so confused by the Mary Queen of Scots trailer though! I also watched all 5 (6?) seasons of Reign, and I know it wasn’t historically accurate so who knows what history I’m all messed up on now, but I was confused by so many things, I don’t even know where to start. Lol!

      • Lol!! I looked up her real story too when watching and I feel like I did this compartmentalization thing where I created two versions πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ The real and the made up. I know nothing about Elizabeth’s real story though! Or Mary’s son’s real story! Both I’d like to do some reading on.

Is it just me, or do you enjoy watching these movies/shows and then fact-checking/researching the people afterwards?

  5. I think it’s decided tahat I will watch anything that has Taron Egerton in it haha. I just love his transformation for Rocketman. I’ve been on a total superhero kick lately, mainly because of my excitement for Titans, but I am So excited for Daredevil, especially since it’s looking to be a Fisk/Matt round 2 seasons. Bring it on!!

  6. I’m so addicted to Shane’s series!! I can’t wait for the next part!! (I think it’s coming out today- eek!!!) I’m always going to be hesitant about DC now tbh. I think the new robin hood looks fun (and I’m always down for retellings of that story tbh) And I like the look of Mary Queen of Scots as well!

  7. Yeah the costumes for Robin Hood do look weird, but the movie itself does look cool, and so does Taron Eggerton. πŸ™‚ So I hope I’ll end up liking it. I’m getting more excited for it since last month I just read Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen which is a Robin Hood retelling and I really liked it so now I’m more in the mood for Robin Hood stuff. πŸ˜›

Oh just FYI a tagged for something…again. XD I don’t know many people to tag to. But It’s for the Fall Time Cozy Time tag that I did for Blogoween so you can do it too if you want. πŸ™‚
