Since I just gave you a little rundown on the month of November yesterday, you are all caught up on my life events, which means we can dive right into the world of new trailers and promos!
Movies
Artemis Fowl
Who has read the books? I haven’t, so I don’t know what to think. I kind of like the look of the trailer, although I have trouble understanding what age bracket this is meant for.
Vox Lux
It looks way better than the first trailer. For those who have no idea what’s going on, Natalie Portman’s character survived a school shooting, performed at the funeral of her classmates and it went viral (or the 90s equivalent of that) and she became famous.
State Like Sleep
I feel like this trailer is a bit all over the place, but I am intrigued and I love the cast.
If Beale Street Could Talk
This movie is going to be so beautifully sad.
Welcome to Marwen
It would be so much better without the cheesy narration. Why did they have to bring those back into trailers?
Happy Death Day 2 U
Smart title.
Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse (Clip)
I am LIVING for the animation and SPIDER-GWEN! She’s my fave.
TV Shows
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Part 2)
I like the throwback to the original Sabrina with the changing of clothes in the beginning. I was notably not the biggest fan of the the first part of Sabrina (purposely didn’t call it Season 2, because it is technically Season 1b), but I will still watch it. I love her new style, want to see more Nicholas and Prudence.
Marvel’s Runaways (Season 2)
I LOVE IT ALREADY! It looks so freaking good.
Fuller House (Season 4)
I hope this ends well since I heard it was cancelled.
Schooled
This actually looks funny, but not hilarious either.
What are you watching? Did anything catch your eye? Let me know in the comments below!
I can’t wait for Sabrina’s Christmas episode (first of all) and then whatever comes next ❤ I really liked season 1 and I have so many questions regarding what happened I might just explode. Also, can we please have talking Salem? Please?
I'm also looking forward to Into the Spider-Verse (sounds so cute!), Artemis Fowl, and a couple others.
I've recently been really into Korean dramas so I might watch more of those in my free time, while reading and blogging and all that good stuff.
Hope you have a lovely December, Kat! 🙂

I don’t think they’ll do the whole talking Salem, but who knows? I just read that the actress is allergic to cats (which they only found out on set) and they kind of made Ambrose the new Salem in terms of character and background story.

Yeah I love Ambrose but I’d still like to have Salem talking at least once in a while…
I read that as well and also how they considered getting a dog instead at some point – that would have really ruined the whole story!

Yeah, I hear you! I am more of a dog person irl but that would NOT have worked for me at all.

Thoughts:
1. Artemis Fowl: I think I tried reading the first book when I was a kid, but I had trouble understanding what was happening, so I stopped reading two chapters in. I don’t think I’ll see this film, though it looks like it’ll have good special effects.
2. Happy Death Day 2U: Obviously, I’m psyched. I enjoyed the first film very much.
3. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: Looks good, but I’m still waiting till it hits DVD.
4. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: *deep breath* AAAAAAAAAAAAH! So excited!
5. Runaways: *another deep breath* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! OMG!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go binge A LOT of anime.

I actually can. I would have been the same if I hadn’t watched it at work.

I did watch it at work! Thank God I was alone in my area of the office.

I have actually read most of the Artemis Fowl books- they were a lot of fun before they started petering out. They’re kind of aimed at younger teens- like 12 to 14- if that helps. Anyway, I’m looking forward to the movie version- could be entertaining if done right 🙂 I love the look of spiderman into the spiderverse too 😀

I am curious but I am not sure it’s something I would watch in a movie theater. I don’t know haha

I AM SO STOKED FOR Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse!!!! Like, Spiderman has ALWAYS been my favorite superhero, and even if they reboot it a million times, I’m gonna see them all. Thanks for always putting these posts together! I always get excited when I see them on my feed. It helps me keep up to date with everything 🙂

I love Spider-Man too! I think I have the most versions of different Spidermans as comics on my shelf (with Miles and Gwen being my faves though, no shade on Peter but that’s just the way it is).
I am so happy people still like these posts!

This reminds me that I still haven’t finished the first part of Sabrina 😂 I did get farther into it & I’m planning to watch it though, as I think the holiday special is also going to come soon! I still have hopes that the second part might get a bit better when it comes out, as so far the show is interesting, but not really blowing me away tbh 😅

Well, I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you. I just really wasn’t into that show … I am not even sure what the nail in the coffin was. The cannibalism? Could be … but the final scene of the last episode was cool aesthetically, I can appreciate that.
