It’s that time of the week again, where I show you all the trailers and promos I found. I hope you have a good time with them and find something new to watch!
Movies
Toy Story 4
Can’t stop laughing at the “no, she literally made a friend” part.
Unicorn Store
Brie Larson keeps surprising me in the best of ways.
Dora and the Lost City of Gold
Look, I am not against this movie, but hear me out. They took a TV show with a talking map and backpack that was clearly targeted at very little children and made a live action teenage Lara Croft with comedy elements? Who thought of that!? Where do these target groups overlap except for nowhere at all?
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Unpopular opinion, but I am not a Tarantino fan HOWEVER this looks really good and I want to watch it.
Lucy in the Sky
If you didn’t expect this to be about the Beatles song and you didn’t want to add “with diamonds” at the end of it … you are making me feel very old.
Who Would You Take to a Deserted Island?
I’d have preferred it, if they had kept it in the original language with subtitles … but … is this an alternate reality to Elite?
HUGE in France
This seems weirdly meta.
The Keeper
I watched this movie already and cried so much. There’s definitely a lot more emotional depth to it than you might expect (and no, the trailer does not show everything).
The Last Black Man in San Francisco
The sound and visuals look great!
John Wick: Chapter 3
I don’t know what to say about this.
William
That seems like a really cruel life experiment.
Savage Youth
It gets more intriguing after a while, but that’s not a movie that works for everyone.
TV Shows
Stranger Things (Season 3)
They have grown so much!!! I could talk about this trailer for hours probably, but suffice to say, I am excited.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Part 2)
I have my quarrels with this show, but I will watch for Prudence, Ambrose and Nick. Also … maybe … a tiny bit interested in what creepy yet hot Satan has planned?
Did you see anything you liked on the list this week? Are you excited for any of the upcoming releases? Let’s talk!
Thoughts:
1. Toy Story 4: Looks cute, but beyond the creepy dolls and dummies, not much to interest me personally.
2. Dora and the Lost City of Gold: Yeah, I was wondering who this was meant for as well. But then again, Michael Bay likes to take anything from someone’s childhood and ruin it, so it doesn’t surprise me that this seems to have the wrong audience in mind. I just hope no one’s careers are ruined by being part of it, especially the lead actress.
3. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: I’m not a Tarantino fan either, but I’m interested in this, if only because it’s supposed to have something to do with the Manson murders.
4. Stranger Things: Yeah, binging this will be the entirety of my 4th of July plans. Anything else is secondary at the moment.
5. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Ooooh, I can’t wait! Only 12 more days to go!
LikeLike
1: I always like the Toy Story movies, no matter how old I get.
2. Michael Bay is involved in Dora? I did not notice that.
3. I wish the Hollywood movie didn’t have anything to do with murder haha that makes it less interesting for me

Yeah, I kinda outgrew Toy Story. Those movies were never my favorite to begin with.
And I still hope Manson does have something to do with the Hollywood movie.

Oh I really like the new Stranger Things trailer, it looks promising and very exciting!! I have to admit that CAOS isn’t my fave show either, but I really like the trailer, it makes season 2 look A LOT more exciting to me š

CAOS had a lot of flaws, but I am way too curious not to watch it. Also, it got renewed for part 3 and 4 anyway, so it’s not like me not watching it would prevent renewal haha
