Trailers You Might Have Missed … (March 25-31)

I know it’s pretty inconsequential, but I always like it when a trailer post falls exactly on the last day of a month. It’s a me thing, I suppose. Anyway, here are the trailers I found:

The Perfect Date

This looks very … predictable? I’d still watch it (and hope it won’t be as disappointing as Sierra Burgess).

Fast Color

I shared this trailer before, but I don’t care. The movie looks so stunning, I want it in my life.

I still feel like that movie is jumping on some sort of bandwagon, but it’s growing on me.

Angry Birds 2

I just so didn’t care for the first movie, so I have no clue what to do with this one.

Villains (Sneak Peek)

I NEED to see this movie. It looks brilliant. (Was Bill always this tall!?)

Mary Magdalene

Uhm, I thought this was already released? I am not much into biblical content, but the atmospheric vibes with the music etc. are really beautiful in the trailer.

The Tomorrow Man

I really thought there was going to be a scifi aspect to this.

The Silence

Is this A Quiet Place meets Bird Box meets the Spellman family? Apparently it is based on a book, so I doubt it drew on all of those recent pop culture phenomena, but still …

The Professor and the Madman

This isn’t really my kind of movie, but maybe some of you are interested in historical fiction.

TV Shows

I like that the main actor really is a gay man who has cerebral palsy. The rep should be on point then.

Am I the only one so jaded that I am not interested in all the origin stories anymore?

No clue what’s going on, but it looks pretty.

Animal Kingdom (Season 4)

I am so pumped for that show to return.

The 100 (Season 6)

I don’t know how I am supposed to feel about this. The show is getting sort of repetitive, while this also just doesn’t have the same vibes as previous the 100 seasons.

What are you watching? Did you like anything you saw in this post? Let’s talk about it!

  1. Thoughts:
    1. UglyDolls: I still kind of want to see it.
    2. Angry Birds 2: Is it wrong that I hope it flops at the box office?
    3. Villains: So nobody in this film is a good person?
    4. The Silence: Yeah, I thought it was A Quiet Place meets the pterodactyl scene from Jurassic World myself.
    5. Pennyworth: Who asked for this?

  2. I don’t get why they needed to give Alfred his own show. Yes, he’s a beloved character, but I’m quite content to leave him as Batman’s butler/voice of attempted reason.

I almost started watching Animal Kingdom the other night, but mam decided to start Line of Duty instead, but I am definitely going to hopefully be catching up on this one soon.

    • I don’t get it either! I don’t know a single person who asked for an Alfred origin story, no matter how much we like his grown up/older version.

I love Animal Kingdom. Please talk to me when you watch it. Deran is my fave Cody brother.
