Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Jun 10-16)

I am going to my third screening at the TV Series Festival in Berlin today and don’t know how long it will actually take, so I am posting the trailers a little earlier than usual.

Frozen 2

This still does not feel like it was made for children.

Good Boys

I know it’s dumb, but I still need to laugh.

Above the Shadows

I am not saying this looks like a good movie, but it totally feels like a paranormal mystery romance novel.

The Art of Self-Defense

I don’t know about this one. It SAYS Offbeat Comedy Classic, but it just feels … violent instead.

Sword of Trust

I can’t believe this is a movie.

Official Secrets

I miss Matt Smith as the Doctor. That’s what I got from this trailer.

Doctor Sleep

Yeah, no. I am out. But I know some people will appreciate it.

TV Shows

Veronica Mars (Season 4)

YAS! My heart is ready for my faves to return.

Still not convinced this was necessary, although Ben Aldridge and Paloma Faith make a good point … by simply being in this.

Fast and Furious: Spy Racers

Why Netflix? Just why?

The Bold Type (Season 4)

2020??? I know that they filmed almost everything at once, so why is the wait still so long?

Are you going to watch any of these? Let’s talk about it!

  1. Thoughts:
1.Frozen 2: I’m confused as to what the plot is supposed to be.
    2. Doctor Sleep: YES! YES! YES! Just read the novel earlier this year, so I’m curious as to what the movie will be like.
    3. Fast & Furious: Spy Racers: I think some execs got into a room and were like, “How can we market F&F to kids whose parents think they are still too young to watch movies that involve swearing, drinking, sex, and seeing crime as a viable means of making an income?” And this is what we got.

Also, I know it’s not on here, but the Banana Splits trailer looks like a lot of fun. Over-influenced by Five Nights at Freddy’s, but right up my alley.

    • I think Frozen 2 is just the realisation that Elsa isn’t the only one with magic and that magical sources outside the kingdom could be a threat just as much as her losing control was in the first one. Now she will have to seek out what’s out there and face it before it destroys them. That’s at least what I got.

There is a movie called Banana Split that I am looking forward to, but we are not talking about the same thing here haha
