Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Jun 24-30)

I’ve been pretty busy this week, as my parents came to visit me in Berlin. I originally intended to post more during the week, but it all came down to the weekend again. I guess that’s just the way it is. Here are your trailers!

Charlie’s Angels

I know everyone says it’s going to flop and I don’t know how to argue against it, but I am actually really pumped for this movie. I loved Charlie’s Angels growing up! My parents had to endure me rewatching the heck out of the VHS tapes.

Bond 25 (First Look)

Uhm … are we going to have a motorcycle next to train shot in every Bond movie now?

Queen & Slim

This looks awesomely intense.

The Good Liar

This looks like a great thriller!

The Current War

Why do I feel like I have seen the trailer for this a couple years back already?

I personally didn’t need a new Pearl Harbor-esque movie and especially not one that looks so filled with special effects.

It looks SO bad!

Night Hunter

Also noping out of this one.

This has too creepy a vibe for me.

Coyote Lake

Camila Mendes isn’t making the best of choices when it comes to her movie projects, but maybe that’s just my opinion.

I feel like I have heard about this before.

TV Shows

The Naked Director

Soooo … this is basically a show about how a Japanese dude became an adult film director … based on real life events?

Orange is the New Black (Season 7)

Can you believe that I didn’t even get through the first episode of this? I feel like such an outcast.

Designated Survivor (Season 3)

I keep forgetting this show even exists.

Will you be watching any of these shows or movies? Did something catch your eye? Let’s chat!

  1. Thoughts:
    1. Charlie’s Angels: I’ll give it a chance, though I feel like we’ll have a repeat of MIB: International the box office.
    2. Bond 25: I’ll get excited when we have a real trailer.
    3. The Current War: You have seen a trailer for this before. So have I. This was supposed to have come out a few years ago. Not sure why it’s coming out now.
    4. Night Hunter: Ooooh.
    5. Burn: Again, ooooh!

    • I know that we don’t need any of these remakes, but at the same time I am sad that so many of them flopped. Hemsworth and Thompson are a great duo for example, but that movie was destined to bomb.
I KNEW that the Current War wasn’t actually anything new.

  2. I was never really a Charlie’s Angels fan myself, but I am not against this reboot. It looks alright, but I am getting tired of all these reboots. What happened to original content!!?
I need to figure out what to watch next. I never know if I’m in the mood for films of TV, so to fill this gap I’ve been going all out with a Bill and Ted re-watch haha.

    • Believe me, I am getting tired of the reboots too. It’s one thing to modernise and redo a movie from the 60s, but honestly, the 90s onwards should just be taboo.
Hahaha rewatching can be fun too! I do that sometimes with Veronica Mars.
