Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Sept 16-22)

I wish I had more time to post things inbetween the trailer posts, but honestly, I am just euphoric about every minute of free time that I have at the moment, so that I don’t really plan much for those rare moments other than rest. But I still manage these weekly trailer round-ups, which I am super glad about to be honest. But I think, by the end of the year, I will have to see where this blog is going and if it sustainable next to my work load.

The Secret Garden

I loved the movie from the 90s and know that the garden isn’t supposed to be actual magic, but I will wait and see until I can watch the whole movie to judge it.

The Warrior Queen of Jhansi

She looks really badass!

Ordinary Love

This is a different Liam Neeson for once.

Dark Waters

I bet it’s a great movie that a lot of people are gonna ignore again.

The Wave

I don’t understand what’s happening, but I thought it was going to be a remake of the book/movie about peer pressure, which it’s not.

The Rhythm Section

Blake just looks so different now.

In the Shadow of the Moon

Watch it be something supernatural in the end?

I don’t think this is my kind of movie.

In the Tall Grass

Do you want to be scared of grass? This is the story for you!

TV Shows

Raising Dion

I AM 100% IN!!!

Living with Yourself

Awe, Paul Rudd vs. himself. Could be interesting?

I am going to go so broke with all these new streaming services.

Well, this is at least a different take on the apocalypse.

Sorry for Your Loss (Season 2)

I HAVE WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS! Give me all the grief and sadness-mess again.

Baby (Season 2)

Still one of the more underrated international shows on Netflix.

Peaky Blinders (Season 5)

I know, I know … it’s already on BBC, but early October it will also be available for binging on Netflix!

Grey’s Anatomy (Season 16)

Do you ever just wonder why this show is still on air?

Will you be tuning in to any of the shows? Will you be watching some of the movies? Let’s chat!

  1. Thoughts:
    1. The Secret Garden: She discovered a passage to Narnia!
    2. Dark Waters: With a title like that, I thought it was a horror movie. Didn’t help that there are already two horror films called Dark Water, one of which I still have to see.
    3. The Wave: I thought this was about a 1967 experiment regarding how easy it is to turn to fascist movements and excuse violence. Also, I feel like it’s taking influence from Doctor Strange.
    4. In The Shadow of the Moon: I hear Netflix has high hopes for this one this Halloween season.
    5. Clemency: Yeah, not my kind of movie, either.
    6. In The Tall Grass: I haven’t read the source material for this one, but I’m getting such a Children of the Corn vibe from it. I’ll check it out.
    7. Raising Dion: I’m intrigued.
    8. Daybreak: I’m in.
    9. Grey’s Anatomy: I’m wondering why this is still on as well.

  2. PEAKY BLINDERS!!! You are in for one hell of a treat. I’ve already said this, but 6 episodes are nowhere near enough to sate my yearning for the Shelby brothers. This season is insane, and the twisted psychology of it is brilliant.

I gave up on Grey’s Anatomy after the plane crash killed my two favourites. Now, I just feel like they’re recycling old storylines with newer characters. Nothing about this show appeals to me anymore.

    • I am a little anxious about what is going to happen on Peaky Blinders, but also excited. That show is one of the best in television history.

I think that plane crash was also my breaking point with Grey’s. I continued to watch for April and Jackson, but they butchered that as well … and the amount of people who have now been to court and are still practicing medicine is ridiculous. It’s not one bit credible anymore at this point. (not that it was the most medically accurate show to begin with)

  3. i keep forgetting but i seriously need to watch peaky blinders. before i wasn’t gonna watch it because of the sex/nudity but between then and now i’ve watched a couple episodes of game of thrones and got used to it a bit more. i think i’ll start it sometime! it sounds great. haha my sister watches greys anatomy but she even admits that it should just end lol

    • When you just said that about sex and nudity on Peaky Blinders, I honestly didn’t know what you were talking about and then I went back to a clip and remembered. Haha the plot is just so fascinating that I never really think about those things. The political scheming and crime was always more fun.
