Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Jan 20-26)

Another week, another bunch of trailers released. I don’t think there are quite as many new ones as last week, but let’s just get to it and take a look:

P.S. I Still Love You (To All the Boys 2)

I am so ready for this movie, I even finished the book on time – yay me!

Steve Carell and Rose Byrne? Count me in.

Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back – Evolution

Nope, I am out. This is the EXACT same movie from my childhood, just with uglier soulless animation.

Horse Girl

I do not understand what’s happening, but Jason Reynolds from Four Weddings is in this, so I am more than willing to give it a shot.

It looks kinda nice.

Blowing Up Right Now

Looks like an interesting plot for relationship drama.

This was at a film festival near me last year and I so wanted to go see it, but I didn’t find the time. It’s so weird, but I am here for it.

Spenser Confidential

Sure, why not? M’Baku has my heart anyway.

The Last Thing He Wanted

I like Anne, but I do not like Ben … tough decision.

Mr Jones

Historical and political, not my jam, but many others.

Patrick Stewart and Katie Holmes feels like an unexpected duo?

The Burnt Orange Heresy

Also, not really my thing.

Miss Americana

Oh, I think this is the Taylor Swift documentary movie where they debated which of her own songs she was allowed to use?

TV Shows

Alex Rider

I just … always still have Alex Pettyfer as my Alex Rider in mind.

It looks like fun!

The Undoing

Yeah, I don’t think so.

Sacred Lies

Facebook Watch is really out there stepping up their “TV” show game.

Did anything in particular catch your eye? Let’s chat!

  1. Why on earth would they butcher a Pokemon classic with that animation? It looks horrid. I’ll stick to the original one for sure.
I never thought I’d see Patrick Stewart and Katie Holmes on the screen together. They are definitely the most random pairing.
I’m by no means the biggest Taylor Swift fan, but I’ve read a couple of reviews for Miss Americana from Sundance and I think it’ll be interesting to explore the ways in which she navigates her music and beliefs in the face of such critics and opposition.

    • I asked myself the exact same question! Fine by me if they want to do new Pokémon movies, but this animation is not my style and we don’t need to redo that particular movie at all.
I like a lot of Taylor’s more recent songs, but I would never call myself a Swiftie or anything like that either. I am intrigued about the movie though, I can’t imagine her life being easy.
