This week hasn’t been very busy on the blog. While I am proud of having had more original posts as of late, I wasn’t as motivated because my energy went elsewhere. I had already announced that I would take part in Camp NaNo, but less than a week ago, I decided to change my writing project. I am now working on something Football related, which is … not very on brand for me, but more about that at a later time. Today, we are here for trailers!
Movies
Valley Girl
I don’t really do musical movies that much, but I kinda like the look of it. (And Logan Paul gets punched in the face … so there’s that)
Capone
Tom Hardy. Enough said.
Proximity
I love unconventional alien stuff.
Dangerous Lies
This feels like a cheap Netflix version of Knives Out (and I really don’t mean that in a good way).
Tammy’s Always Dying
Could be good. I bet it’s going to be really emotional in the end.
Dummy
This looks like absolute shit.
Monsoon
Henry Golding is really out there getting a great number of acting gigs and I am here for it.
Braking for Whales
I only clicked on this because I hadn’t seen Tom Felton in anything since The Flash.
A Good Woman Is Hard to Find
Could go either way, but artsy action dramas are hard to pull off.
Psych 2
It’s happening!
TV Shows
Never Have I Ever
As I said with the teaser, this is produced by Mindy Kaling, so I was in either way, but this actually looks like a whole lot of fun!
Brave New World
Yes, thank you. I will definitely watch this!
Angelyne
So, the NBCUniversal streaming service is really trying to step up their game. Too bad I really, really don’t want another streaming service.
Summertime
Will likely also watch this at some point.
Valeria
Spanish show about a struggling writer? I am intrigued.
The Eddy
I am excited for the music in this one.
Perry Mason
Have I mentioned that I am kinda over HBO shows … it still looks like quality content, but the genres aren’t my thing.
Nadiya’s Time to Eat
Awe, Nadiya is great. I am sure this is wholesome too.
Saved by the Bell (Reboot)
Just why?
Intelligence
I don’t know … not my thing.
Did you see something you’d like to watch? Let’s chat!
Thoughts:
1. Valley Girl: An 80’s-themed jukebox musical with a douchebag YouTuber getting punched in the face? Where do I sign up?
2. Capone: I think I might see it.
3. Proximity: Ooh, I’m getting the best Stranger Things vibes.

Valley Girl really does have its appeal.
Stranger Things? I don’t associate aliens with Stranger Things. I got more Taken vibes.

Maybe it’s the 80’s feel to it.

We do not need a Save by the Bell reboot. Why must they ruin the classics! Just leave them alone!
I was already sold on Capone as soon as I saw Tom Hardy in it haha.

Sometimes I just want them to leave certain stuff alone too. I really didn’t need that Save the Bell reboot at all.
Tom Hardy – one of the best arguments for a film or show ever!

Football related? You got me curious hahah As for the trailers, Capone was definitely the most exciting one of them all, especially with my boy Hardy back in action!!! π

I have watched too much Friday Night Lights and now I think I am actually able to pull off a story that involves Football (although it’s likely I am not).
Hardy is always a very compelling argument for any movie!

Definitely also mostly watching Capone because of Tom Hardy! Nadiya was such a sweetheart on Great British Bake-Off and I’m so happy she finally has her own show.
Happy watching π

Sorry! Your comment ended up in the spam for some reason, so I just saw it now!
Nadiya has been doing great after the bake-off and that made me so happy for her. She really is a sweetheart. And Tom Hardy is a good argument for any film really.
Happy watching to you too, Michelle!
