Trailers You Might Have Missed … (May 25-31)

This feels like an incredibly trivial post considering the world’s current state. I’ve tried to retweet and share sources and links that I found helpful on Twitter and encourage everyone to educate themselves in case they still don’t know what’s going on right now. We need to stand with the people seeking justice and equality! This is a global issue.
Regardless, I also know that a lot of you are looking for distraction, so I hope this will offer such a brief moment.

Dirt Music

I have this urge of wanting to check out this great Australian novel, but at the same time I don’t know if I’d actually like it. Has anyone read the book this is based on and can help me out?

I adore that they are telling more queer historical stories now.

Secret Society of Second-Born Royals

I kind of love that Skyler Astin is now the dad-esque mentor type. He’s still so young in my eyes, but these kids are so much younger.

Four Kids and It

Did not expect to see Matthew Goode in … this?

Viena and the Fantomes

I swear this movie was filmed like five years ago …

Under the Riccione Sun

No shade, but that’s basically the Italian show Summertime as a movie, no?

Masters of Love

Eh … I don’t know.

Waterlily Jaguar

The editing of this trailer is doing the movie a disservice, because it looks bad, but I can’t tell if the story is actually bad.

Lenox Hill

Documentary of the week

TV Shows

Dark (Season 3)

I am not objective when it comes to this show. I love it too much and know too many people involved.

Love, Victor

I love it. I want it. I saw Keiy for a second and screamed.

I think this looks interesting enough, but I have troubles taking Quibi content seriously.

Perry Mason

Matthew Rhys is an excellent character actor.

This gives me October Faction vibes, with the twins and the weird occurrences and returning to a hometown?

Did you see something you might like to watch? Let’s talk!

  1. Thoughts:
    1. The Society of Second-Born Royals: Okay, when they say royalty, do they mean literal royalty? Like the family was exiled or abdicated from a nation’s throne but they’re still considered princes and princesses and whatnot? Or is this metaphorical? Also, this feels a lot like something that should have been a YA novel and something Disney would come up with post-Descendants.
    2. Curon: Ooh, this looks fun. And it comes out on my birthday, too.

    • I think studios are just releasing stuff they were on the fence about before, because they don’t have any new material haha there’s so much nonsense now!
Dark is AWESOME! I have like one show on Netflix in every non-English language that I adore and this is the one for German.
