Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Jul 20-26)

Just as my art challenge is about to run out (and I have been very bad with my words, because I needed to do some plotting), I started a fitness challenge. I hope that will give me more time to read next month though … Anyway, I know you are here for trailers, so let’s do that!

New Mutants (first 2 minutes of the movie)

Antlers (Featurette)

Wendigos now make me think of Until Dawn …

Guest House

It looks rubbish?

I have no clue what to think about this?

Not gonna lie, did not expect a Megan Fox action movie.

Kind of like a Russian Alien.

The Vanished

If that were my genre, I’d say it looks decent.

TV Shows

The fact that I have worked with and/or met all the lead women in this show has me so excited!

Marvel’s Helstrom

I want this. I need this. (not just because Tom has a lead role)

The idea of a utopia low-key creeps me out, because usually they end up being super sinister.

Truth Seekers

This could be fun!

Bad Ideas

It was a bad idea to greenlight this show?

The Fugitive

Haven’t really gotten into quibi as a platform yet.

His Dark Materials (Season 2)

Still need to catch up.

For All Mankind (Season 2)

Still haven’t watched Season 1.

Baby (Season 3)

Yes please!

Archer (Season 11)

I think I’ve maybe seen one episode of this total.

Did you see something you’d like to watch? Let’s talk!

  1. Ohh, His Dark Materials is already coming back, surprised about that! The trailer looks good and the guy from The Letter to the King (or something like that?) is there too and I’m surprised about that. Just hoping the season ends up being as good as it seems in the trailer!

  2. Thoughts:
    1. New Mutants: This might be the only footage to ever be released. Ever. Unless it goes streaming, but at this point, I think 20th Century worries about losing all the money they sank into advertising by doing that.
    2. Antlers: I was so stoked for this when it was supposed to come out in April. I still hope I get to see it someday soon.
    3. Antlers: A militia and a bloodthirsty lioness? Gotta say, that’s original.
    4. Sputnik: I just watched Alien the other night! What a coincidence.
    5. The Vanished: It does look good, but I think the title doesn’t match. It makes me think of something with a more supernatural bent. Or more missing people.
    6. Diery: What a terrible pun for a title.
    7. Helstrom: I did not know this was a thing. I will need to do more research.
