Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Aug 31-Sep 6)

I have a bunch of posts planned for next week, so I am really excited about those. I might be able to get a more regular schedule down for this fall again, although obviously no promises. But first, here are again some trailer updates for you!

James Bond 007: No Time to Die

It’s back on the schedule.

The Glorias

I like the look of it, but I always feel like Alicia Vikander (who I love) sounds the same. So, if that’s the same person through the ages, she does not fit in with her accent.

I Met a Girl

I find this super interesting as a concept.

The Boys in the Band

They really went in with that casting.

LX 2048

Looks very scifi.

Welcome to the Blumhouse

It’s for you if you like horror.

TV Shows

Emily in Paris

They had me at “creator of Younger”!

Looks like an interesting family mini-series.

Grand Army

Looks like it’s gonna be Euphoria or We Are Who We Are style teen drama.

I don’t know why I am thinking of Homeland right now.

The Haunting of Bly Manor

Yeah … still haven’t watched Hill House …

CWverse Arrowverse Superheroes

We shall not accept CWverse as a thing.

Adult Material

Don’t think that’s my thing.

Criminal (Season 2)

Did not even watch S1.

Sing On!

I already watched the German version of this and it’s basically just watching other people play Sing Star.

Did you see something you’d like to watch? Let’s chat!

  1. Thoughts:
    1. No Time to Die: It may be back on the schedule, but how long will it stay there?
    2. LX 2048: I don’t know what it’s about, but I’m super-intrigued.
    3. Welcome to the Blumhouse: Dammit, I don’t have Prime! Every single movie will cost extra just to rent!
    4. The Haunting of Bly Manor: I haven’t seen Hill House either, but that’s mostly because I didn’t care for the source material.

  2. The CWverse? Really? How lame is that? Stick to Arrowverse. It’s a tribute to the show that started it all and it sounds so much better.
Why did I think that No Time to Die wasn’t coming out until next year?
Hill House was so twisted, but also brilliant. I both loved and hated it cause I’m not the best with horror these days. Having said that, I’m still compelled to watch Bly Manor, but I can’t stand anything with spooky kids and puppets, which this apparently has both.

    • No one is on board with the CWverse … I don’t know if maybe they aren’t allowed to use arrow for branding anymore now that the show has ended? Maybe it’s a rights issue?? But still … CWverse is BAD.
I wouldn’t bet on No Time to Die to actually stick to that date just yet haha
I am scared of Hill House. I like so many of the actors in it and I am intrigued, but … horror … me … not a good combo
