Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Sep 14-20)

I’ve mostly spent the week either watching, drawing or listening to the cast of Julie and the Phantoms, so, I can’t really complain. I’m not here to talk about that show though, I’m here to talk about trailers. Let’s go!

Movies

Love and Monsters

HERE FOR IT!! But I swear … that dog better stay alive.

Pixie

It seems like a mess, but I think I’d watch it?

Then Came You

OMG!!! A Craig Ferguson romcom movie!?

The Father

It’s gonna have remarkable performances, but I am just not able to watch dementia storylines,

The Place of No Words

Woah, this is a real family venture of a movie.

Synchronic

Jamie is really determined to go through all the genres. Good on him.

The Trial of the Chicago 7

I always keep forgetting that Sacha Baron Cohen is actually a really good drama actor.

The Last Shift

I like these kind of movies.

The Opening Act

I don’t think I am into it.

The Wall of Mexico

What?

The Devil Has a Name

Meh.

Nocturne

Reminds me of Black Swan, but is not my style. Sydney is really one of the great talents of her generation though.

The Lie

Blumhouse is really releasing a lot.

Song Exploder

Documentary of the week.

TV Shows

Emily in Paris

I am so hyped for this show!

Your Honor

Ooooh, Bryan Cranston in a new show!

Industry

Could be really good, but also looks more on the heavy side, so, it depends on my mood.

The Mandalorian (Season 2)

Y’all, don’t hate me but … I haven’t watched the first season yet.

Grey’s Anatomy/Station 19 Crossover Premiere

Ugh … I don’t like it when they crossover.

Did you see something you might like to watch on this post? Let’s talk!

  1. Thoughts:
    1. Love and Monsters: I am there for this as well. Looks like so much fun.
    2. Synchronic: I’ve seen some of the directors’ other work. They’re very good. I hope I can see this when it comes out.
    3. Nocturne: I don’t usually check out films on Amazon (still have to see 1984), but this looks right up my alley.
    4. The Lie: Blumhouse has a hit-or-miss record, but this might be one of their better efforts. Might be.

Also, I saw the teaser trailer for the Animaniacs revival, and I am so there! Probably going to sing along with the theme song during the very first episode.
