Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Oct 5-11)

I think I’ve been doing fairly well in terms of blogging this early on in the month of October. I have already accomplished my 2020 reading goal. Things are looking up? Hopefully? But for now, without looking too much into the future, here are this week’s trailers!

Free Guy

It’s sad just how much I want to watch this movie!

The 355

YES! So badass!!

Dash & Lily

Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares is one of my favourite YA Christmas-themes books, so, I am super pumped for this!

Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey

How bad is it that Jingle Jangle now makes me think of a drug thanks to Riverfail?

They really made a story about Santa gritty.

Come Away

Are the kids using Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland as coping mechanisms or is this really magical? Either way, I think it’s going to be emotional.

News of the World

Tom Hanks in a Western? Heck yeah.

Chick Fight

What do you want me to say?

Promising Young Woman

I still believe this movie will be amazing. I am sad the release kept getting pushed as well.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie

I don’t know the source material or the real story, so I don’t know what to say.

The Education of Frederick Fitzell

I am just glad to see Dylan O’Brien on my screen more again.

Half Brothers

Could be sweet.

Buddy Games

This looks … dumb.

I think this film was shot in black and white, as in, this isn’t edited afterwards. No color version exists.

Princess of the Row

Looks intense but like it’s gonna be really good.

I have no clue what to think.

I don’t think this is my kind of movie.

Viena and the Fantomes

This is really not like Julie and the Phantoms at all.

Black Bear

Sometimes people forget that Aubrey Plaza is a great drama actress.

Monster Hunter

I love how closely they worked with the game developers!

Rogue City

TV Shows

Grand Army

Someone said this is Netflix’ reply to Euphoria and We Are Who We Are.

Love & Anarchy

The age gap, the blackmail … iffy … but I usually like Nordic Netflix.

Alice in Borderland

Looks interesting!

Iain De Caestecker is a big draw here.

A Discovery of Witches (Season 2)

Dickinson (Season 2)

I want to start Season 1 soon-ish. Apple has not disappointed me yet.

Pennyworth (Season 2)

I haven’t watched this show yet.

American Gods (Season 3)

Aaah, time to catch up on the 2-3 episodes I was still missing from the last season. Although I am more than disappointed that the Orlando Jones won’t be in it anymore.

The Expanse (Season 5)

Superstore (Season 6)

They really take the pandemic seriously.

Did you see something on here you’d like to watch? Let’s talk!

  1. You are on a blogging/reading role and you need to share your mojo with me so I can get back in the flow of things too haha. I can’t belive they snuck Dash & Lily in without us noticing. Easily a must watch. Not gonna lie, I fully intended to watch American Gods, but my interest has definitely waned over the past year or so.
