Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Nov 9-15)

Another week, another trailer round up on the horizon. I really feel like this week has a lot better trailers to offer than the last one I posted, but see for yourself!

My boy, Hunter, from Stargirl is in this and I’ve been hyping up its release for months. SO READY FOR MORE FOOTBALL IN MY LIFE AGAIN!

Black Beauty

I will forever be a horse girl at heart, so I am here for it.

Happiest Season

YES! A mainstream lesbian Christmas romcom. I love it.

Wild Mountain Thyme

I’ve heard quite a lot of complaints about the accents, but I’d still watch it happily anyway.

The Princess Switch 2: Switched Again

Modern Persuasion

I adore Persuasion and I do believe a modern take could be great, but this is not it.

I. just. don’t. know.

It intrigues me.

Riding With Sugar

I think this is based on a short film from a couple years back.

High Ground

Looks intense.

It looks ridiculous?

TV Shows

The Hardy Boys

They saw what the CW did with Nancy Drew and decided to make their move. I like it.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (Reunion)

The Mess You Leave Behind

I’d watch for Ander and Ander alone.

The Legend of El Cid

And more familiar Elite faces.

Alien Worlds

I adore thought experiments like this.

Servant (Season 2)

This is too creepy for me.

Mr. Iglesias (Part 3)

I have friends who are very pumped for this.

9-1-1 (Season 4)

Oh dear, not the Hollywood sign.

Big Mouth (Season 4)

I’m sorry, but I just don’t like this show.

What did you think? Did you see something you’d like to watch? Let’s chat!

  1. Thoughts:
    1. The Hardy Boys: Everything’s getting rebooted as darker and edgier for TV! Do we call that the Riverdale treatment? Or the Teen Wolf treatment? Either way, I wonder what property will get a dark, edgy reboot next?
    2. Alien Worlds: Well, I know several people who will watch this. One of them might be me.

    • Teen Wolf was actually good, so, I’d like to think it’s the Teen Wolf movement that started this edgier trend. Riverfail is such a mess. Nancy Drew on the other hand, they did well on that one!
I love the idea of Alien Worlds. I once watched a documentary series about how people imagined earth in the far distant future after humans were extinct and it was so fascinating. Octopus-like creatures really took over the planet in the seas and on land.
