Can you believe it’s Christmas in a couple days? I feel like time’s just flying by these days, but Sunday is all about trailers as per usual. Let’s take a look at what I found!
Movies
The Ultimate Playlist of Noise
It feels like it ties into that “dying girl” genre, but tries to mix it up, especially since no one is dying.
Palmer
Juno is gonna take over the whole of Apple TV+ and I like that idea.
Outside the Wire
Could be really cool!
Breaking Fast
Could be cute.
Love Sarah
This also looks cute.
Fear the Rain
Could be scary and oddly intriguing.
Nomadland
This seems like it’s gonna be noteworthy during award season.
Louis van Beethoven
Me: *panics because of one actor that I DMed with but knows that this is not my kind of movie*
Show up for Jonas from Druck regardless!
Skyfire
No thank you.
Wrong Turn
I don’t do horror.
TV Shows
Bridgerton
It will surely be so good!!
Shadow and Bone (Date Announcement)
I AM HYPE!!!!!!!!
Everyone Is Doing Great
I am here for Alexandra Park!
Tribes of Europe
The fact that I know so many of these German actors at least a little bit has me excited. This looks really interesting and like it has great production value.
Equinox
I am still interestd in this.
Asphalt Burning
It looks so weird, but maybe.
Walker
I am so not in need of this reboot.
Prodigal Son (Season 2)
I am ALMOST caught up! I binged the show and only need three more episodes so I can be ready for this.
Disenchantment (Part 3)
I am not a huge fan, but i watch this.
All American (Season 3)
THIS is my show. They better make my ship dreams come true this season.
Thoughts:
1. Outside the Wire: Looks cool, I guess.
2. Fear the Rain: Hmmm, intriguing.
3. Louis van Beethoven: No joke, I used to be quite the Beethoven nut in high school and early college (still am to a lesser degree). Even wrote a paper for a class on how Beethoven was something of a classical rock star, especially in the sense of his erratic behavior. I might be interested, but I have to ask: why is his name Louis in the title?
4. Skyfire: My mom loves disaster movies, so she’ll probably see this. I might wait until after I read one of the books I got for Hanukkah, which is about the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption.
5. Wrong Turn: Haven’t seen the original, but I’m a little intrigued.
6. Bridgerton: I know it’s Regency and not Victorian England, but I want to give it a try.
7. Shadow & Bone: Are you hyped? I can’t tell. You’re being much too vague about it, lol.
8. Equinox: Looks creepy enough.

I was wondering about why it was called Louis as well. I don’t think it’s that title in the German original, but maybe it’s like a nickname?
SHADOW. AND. BONE! You read Six of Crows too, this adaptation should be so epic.

Let’s hope it meets expectations, then.

Palmer looks like it’s just going to punch me in the feels.
Shadow and Bone!!! I am here for all the hype. If anything, I think I’m actually more interested in seeing how they create the world with that gothic vibes haha.
I was looking at Prodigal Son yesterday and considered bingeing it!!

Hahah i meant maturity wise. He is just a high school kid, experimenting with so many different things. And tbh, I really like Johanne so I don’t want her to make desperate moves just because of family pressures, you know?

Are you done with the second season by now? Because I felt like she was doing things for herself here and what made her feel happy (aside from hosting a Christmas dinner she was not equipped to host).
