I’ve gone a bit more quiet this past week, but it’s just some stuff I have to deal with. Hope you are all doing well and are excited to look into some new trailers. Here’s what I’ve got!
Movies
Monster
While the movie looks fantastic, albeit very heartbreaking, I wish that one day, Kelvin Harrison Jr. will get to play someone who isn’t miserable. Give him a role full of joy, please! He’s such a fantastic actor.
Mainstream
I like the look of this? Although it’s meta to have a movie that seems about people like Jake Paul and then have Jake Pual show up in it.
The Woman in the Window
This story has been done so many times, but Amy Adams is an argument.
Profile
They really made the most of that pandemic restrictions to film this realistically, but then again the previous movies (Searching, Unfriended …) were done in a similar style, so maybe they lucked out.
The Innocent
I’m not very familiar with Harlan Coben’s work, but it looks interesting.
Those Who Wish Me Dead
It’s just really not my kind of movie, but I could see it being good-ish.
Into the Beat
I think this was supposed to be a cinema release and now the German production company got too impatient to wait for them to reopen and sold it to Netflix. I’m still looking forward to a different German dance movie though. But I’m still gonna watch this.
The Unthinkable
That movie better have a really good reveal.
The Columnist
“Why can’t we all be nice about it” and proceeds to kill people for what they say.
Ghostbusters 3: Afterlife (Sneak Peek)
I forgot this was happening.
TV Shows
Marvel’s Loki
I wish they had timed it to release closer to the end of TFATWS, but I am still excited. I haven’t decided on whether I will do weekly reviews for this yet, as they don’t seem super popular? Please, let me know if that’s something you’d be interested in. I might also do a Twitter poll on it.
Jupiter’s Legacy
It looks SO good! The trailer doesn’t really seem that violent, so I’m curious if that was deceiving, because I know Mark Millar. The source material is violent and dark af.
Run the World
I thought I had shared this before, but maybe not. So, just in case:
Girls5eva
Looks ridiculous, but I’m no authority on sitcoms.
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (Season 2)
This will be Gina’s season and let me tell you, I WILL BE HERE FOR IT!
Dynasty (Season 4)
Since they didn’t do weekly Netflix releases for S3 in my country, I really haven’t caught up. Whoops.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Season 6)
I’ve abandoned this show seasons ago, so, I have nothing to say.
I really love your weekly reviews of the marvel shows! It’s always the first thing I check after watching the episode.

That makes me incredibly happy to hear! I’ve just noticed the FATWS reviews doing A LOT worse than WandaVision and I thought if interest was waning, it might not be worth it. Cause these reviews are a lot haha but thank you! ❤ I’m glad you told me.

Thoughts:
1. Monster: For a moment, I thought this was going to be a heartwarming biopic about the kid who put a landmine in his mouth and came to the US for reconstructive surgery. Nope, it’s going to be about a depressing reality of living in this country.
2. The Woman in the Window: Boycotting because the author is a lying POS.
3. Profile: Ooh, this looks intense. Also, that editor character was in The Unholy playing the exact same sort of character! And she was in Doctor Who playing a journalist aboard a space station, so I guess these roles really come to her or something?
4. Those Who Wish Me Dead: On the fence, but it looks good.
5. Ghostbusters Afterlife: I’m not particularly invested, but I will see this film when it comes out.
6. Loki: This comes out my birthday week, so I say it’s a very nice gift from the Disney company.

I think Monster is a book too? A lot of people in the comments on YT talked about having had to read it for grade school or something.
did not know that, but will make a mental note of that.
3-6. nothing to add 😀
