As you might have noticed, I decided to review Marvel’s What If …? series after all, but other than that, it wasn’t a very busy week on the blog. I’ve been working hard to get the next installment for my reader compatibility series out, so I hope to bring that to you soon. For now, we’re here for trailers!
Movies
Dating & New York
This is my kind of movie.
A Journal for Jordan
Michael B. Jordan in a romance movie. A film by Denzel Washington. Enough said.
Summer Days Summer Nights
These nostalgic summer movies are always kind of the same, but I dig them?
My Little Pony New Generation
What am I supposed to say?
The Nowhere Inn
This looks interesting, because it’s so many things.
This Is the Year
This was made by The Wizards of Waverly Place behind the scenes. (If you know what I’m talking about, you know what I’m talking about.)
Time Is Up
The acting seems kind of … cringe.
Saving Paradise
Awe, haven’t seen William Moseley in a while.
JJ+E
I mean, I’d watch it.
Worth
You had me at Stanley Tucci.
Small Engine Repairs
This seems like Jon Bernthal role.
Wild Indian
Michael Greyeyes should 100% be billed first.
Prisoner of the Ghostland
Such a Nicholas Cage choice of a movie.
Hard Luck Love Song
I haven’t really been into Sophia Bush’s projects lately.
Superhost
Think twice about booking a room from a superhost …
C.I. Ape
It looks ridiculous …
TV Shows
Dopesick
It looks so intense. Keaton is really out there doing all the movies/shows based on real life stories.
The D’Amelio Show
This is not my thing.
Clickbait
I think I shared this already?
Midnight Mass
It’s from the producers of Hill House, so it’s gonna be creepy.
Titletown High
Netflix has a lot of reality Football shows.
Truth Be Told (Season 2)
Y’all know my stance on Apple TV+ and their content (aka it’s good).
The Great (Season 2)
Looks good.
Into the Night (Season 2)
Maybe I’ll finally watch the first season past the first 10 minutes.
Doom Patrol (Season 3)
I’m a whole season behind …
American Crime Story: Impeachment (Season 3)
Took me second to recognize Beanie Feldstein.
What We Do In the Shadows (Season 3)
I don’t watch it, but it always looked funny.
A.P. Bio (Season 4)
A little bit surprised this is still on, to be honest.
Lucifer (Season 6)
I’m excited for my friends who love this show.
Thoughts:
1. MLP New Generation: I sent to this to a friend of mine who used to be a brony. He says it’s in all the wrong areas of the uncanny valley.
2. Prisoners of the Ghostland: I was just watching a ridiculous Nicholas Cage film last night: Willy’s Wonderland. It was great. And this looks like something Cage would be in. I kind of want to see it because it looks absolutely bonkers.
3. Superhost: One of these days, I’ll get Shudder. Also, Osric Chau!
4. Midnight Mass: Looks great. I’ll watch it.
5. Lucifer: AAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! I can’t wait!

Hahaha a true brony connoisseur.
Oh, I’ve heard of Willy’s Wonderland and it did look typically Cage-insane.

And it was pretty funny, too. I think, if you wanted to watch it, you might enjoy it.

I love these posts because I’ve legitimately missed so many of these. A Journal for Jordan looks like it’s going to make me cry.
