Yesterday, I finally posted the long awaited continuation of my reading compatibility series – this time featuring Sebastian Stan! In hindsight, maybe Saturday wasn’t the best day to post, but if you get a chance, I hope you can show the post some love here anyway. Knowing there’s a readership for it allows me to continue with it in the future, since it’s quite time intensive. But now, on to our trailers!
Movies
Eternals
I’m in love love love with this already. The cinematography is going to be beautiful!! I’m going to ignore that the explanation regarding Thanos still doesn’t make sense, considering he’s part deviant, but eh … maybe that’s not canon in the MCU.
The Voyeurs
The concept is obviously nothing new, but I adore the cast and I’m actually excited to watch it … which feels like an odd choice of words considering it’s Voyeurs, you know …
Afterlife of the Party
I’m a simple girl. I’m totally into these simple movies that probably won’t have a lasting effect, but are super fun for the moment.
Best Sellers
You had me at Aubrey Plaza. It being set in the publishing industry just helps on top of it.
Falling for Figaro
I shared this before for sure, but like many other movies, it got pushed back a little and sharing it again won’t hurt. It looks cute.
Nightbooks
Awe, this looks like a really good set up for kids horror.
If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power
This is going to be one big long music video.
East of the Mountains
I wouldn’t go into the wilderness alone.
Forever Rich
Doesn’t look like my kind of movie, but still well made.
The Hand of God
I wanted to say that it looked like a movie for theaters and alas, it will be shown in select theaters.
The Survivalist
I thought I had shared this already?
TV Shows
Scenes From a Marriage
You’re so going to have to be in a specific mood for this one.
Foundation
It still looks epic to me!
Open Your Eyes
Still looks creepy.
Ada Twist, Scientist
I’m far too old for this, but maybe some of you have/know kiddos.
Dear White People (Season 4)
Last week we had the teaser, now the full trailer. It looks different (in terms of the story) than what I expected?
Thoughts:
1. Eternals: I’m looking forward to it.
2. Afterlife of the Party: Watched the trailer the other day and was like, “Yeah, this is something Kat would totally be into.”
3. Nightbooks: Oh, yes please! Besides, Kristen Ritter is just fabulous, hands down.

Rami, after all those years, you know me so well!!
And agreed on Kristen Ritter. She is great and I’m always happy to see her.

I’m sure there’s still more to learn. After all, you are dipping your toes into horror these days. I still have no idea how that happened or what horror you prefer.

The horror thing came as an utter surprise to me! I like things that don’t actually terrify me. I still want to be able to sleep well afterwards. Books are easier than movies. Aliens are usually fine (like The Quiet Place). I really don’t like body horror and I abhor things that are too real. Not a fan of gore or violence for no reason. I’m just still super picky me.

Damnit, there goes most of my published work (though you don’t read/review friends’ works anyway).

I really like the cast in the Scenes From A Marriage remake, but I really don’t think it needed an update. The original holds up.

I’ve given up on Hollywood not making remakes of things. They just keep doing that all the time.
