It still hasn’t quite sunk in that we’re firmly in September already. I’m mostly lost in my books, especially after finishing the Atlas Six, which I’m completely obsessed with, but time stops for no one. Let’s just indulge ourselves on this lazy Sunday with some more trailers though!
Movies
Red Notice
My former roommate’s now husband is the cinematographer of this movie, but I would have watched it either way. It looks fun!
Belfast
And here I thought the whole thing would be black and white! Gosh, I adore this cast!
No Time to Die
I’ll believe it when the movie actually releases.
The Electrical Life of Louis Wain (scene more than a teaser)
The ultimate cat person movie.
Moonfall
They’ll never stop making movies about disasters in space.
My Son
*sigh* I wish I could watch James McAvoy in something happier.
Runt
R.I.P. Cameron Boyce. He was so young.
Forever Rich
I shared a teaser of this before.
American Night
What is this?
Survive the Game
Typical Bruce Willis.
Parallel Mothers
I feel like I’ve shared this before.
Mass
I feel like this would work in theater.
TV Shows
The Wheel of Time
This looks SO cool!
Mayor of Kingstown
Hmm … Jeremy Renner in a TV show.
Squid Game
Definitely could be interesting.
Yellowjackets
Is this like the future version of Amazon’s The Wilds?
The Croods Family Tree
Guess it’s a show now?
You (Season 3 Date Announcement)
I saw pictures as well and Joe better not hurt Tati’s character or I’ll be so pissed.
Dickinson (Season 3)
I didn’t realize this was going to be the last season. Now I’m kind of sad.
Doom Patrol (Season 3)
I really have to catch up!
The Sinner (Season 4)
Honestly haven’t seen a single season yet.
The Good Doctor (Season 5)
I’ve stopped watching seasons ago, but what?
Thoughts:
1. Red Notice: Looks like Dwayne Johnson’s usual action movie fare. Also, how many different kind of secret agents or federal agents or whatever has he been now?
2. No Time to Die: If it ever gets released. Also, it’s nearly three hours long. That’s a lot of time to die.
3. Moonfall: I’ll check it out.
4. Wheel of Time: I think my mom used to read the books.

It is the Rock’s usual gig, but it works for me. I still enjoy watching the same old same old stuff haha
I was wondering about the books. I don’t think I’ve even heard of them before, but I might look into them.

From what I understand, they tend to go on a lot of tangents. But that’s just what a friend of mine says.

Hmmmm … not sure I’d be a fan of that

It’s only secondhand information, though. Firsthand experience is what we need.

I had missed some of these but I’m super excited for Wheel of Time! I can’t wait for it to release.

It looks fantastic! Have you read the books? I haven’t.

There’s quite a few I plan on watching here, especially Mass. That’s been on my radar since Sundance. The My Son trailer is suuuuuuuper pretentious but I love McAvoy so I’ll watch.

McAvoy will always be a draw for me as well!

So many intriguing new movies/shows to look forward to! I hear that McAvoy improvises 100% of his lines in My Son. I’m hella excited about it! 😀

Ooooh, I didn’t know that, but that sounds super cool. McAvoy generally tends to be awesome.
