Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Sep 20-26/2021)

It’s Sunday and almost the end of September. This year has has really been wooshing by, but more on that in the monthly wrap-up post. Today, we’re here for trailers and a lot of them are teasers or sneak peeks from Netflix’ TUDUM event (yes, it’s named after the sound when the Netflix logo shows up). Let’s get started!

Kristen Stewart’s body language always exudes anxious energy, but I guess it fits here at times.

A Mouthful of Air

This is going to make so many people cry. Postpartum is a monster.

The cinematography is stunning and the cast is intriguing and the topic is quite heavy. Guess I’m here for it!

Night Teeth

I don’t know what it says about me that I’m into these kind of movies, especially cause a lot of it is based on the cast. I saw Alfie Allen there!

The Humans

Looks absolutely FANTASTIC! I bet this is one of those movies that stays with you.

The Tragedy of MacBeth

The staging looks interesting!

Army of Thieves

I think we’ve established plenty of times that I’m going to watch this.

Cute apocalyptic stuff with Tom Hanks.

The Electrical Life of Louis Wain

My brain is so muddled by Marvel that I legit thought “Doctor Strange and Sylvie AU”.

Don’t Look Up (Clip)

I think it could be fun.

American Underdog

I love Zachary Levi, but he feels out of place?

Love Is Love Is Love

Could be neat?

Extraction 2

Didn’t know they were gunning for several movies here.

Halloween Kills

Figures I should post the final trailer, because I believe I’ve neglected that so far.

This is messed up.

Stuck Together

This might be too much for me.

Through My Window (Date Announcement)

Not sure this is actually a movie, it could well be a show. Either way, it seems like a bad idea.

Eh, looks okay.

Religious mania isn’t really my thing.

Escape the Undertaker

It’s an interactive Netflix special. I guess it could be fun?

Attack of the Hollywood Clichés!

Another special.

Britney vs Spears

A new Netflix documentary.

TV Shows

The Sandman

Cowboy Bebop (Opening Credits)

I AM SO HERE FOR IT! They’re really trying to do it justice, I feel like. Fingers crossed it won’t be another Death Note.

I’ve never played LoL, but this looks good!

Vikings: Valhalla

I gotta admit that I tuned out with the other Vikings show at some point, but I’d give this a shot.

Adventure Beast

Sure, why not?

Inside Job

More same-ish animated stuff.

I think Apple TV+ likes to reuse their talent for different productions and I get that.

The Sex Lives of College Girls

I have no clue what’s going on. Just hangover …

Luna Park

I don’t really have thoughts on this one.

I Know What You Did Last Summer

I believe I only posted the teaser last week?

HBO Max 2021-2022 line up

Do with this what you like.

Bridgerton (Season 2 clip)

YES!!! Kate is gonna keep Anthony in check.

Emily in Paris (Season 2)

Fine, I guess.

Tiger King (Season 2)

I think I’m the only person who never watched the first season. I’ve just learned what it’s about through cultural osmosis.

The Witcher (Season 2 clips and teasers)

It’s been too long since S1.

Hightown (Season 2)

I’ve not watched S1.

Stranger Things (Season 4)

Why does this feel like a mash up of The Haunting of … and Stranger Things?

Cobra Kai (Season 4)

It looks so ridiculous, but I’m excited.

On My Block (Season 4)

I really didn’t expect them to follow up on the season finale of S3.

Ozark (Season 4)

I hear this is also the final season.

La Casa de Papel/Money Heist (Season 5 Vol 2 Clip)

No comment, cause I’m still in S1.

Did you see something you’re excited about? Did the TUDUM event pique your interest? Let’s talk!

  1. Thoughts:
    1. Night Teeth: Looks like a lot of fun. Right up my alley.
    2. Army of Thieves: This is going to be hysterical.
    3. Halloween Kills: I refuse to watch this trailer so I can go into the movie without any more spoilers. Hopefully I won’t see this trailer when I see Venom 2 or No Time to Die.
    4. Multiverse: “Messed up” sounds about right.
Also, there are too many TV shows where I have thoughts, so I’m just going to say I look forward to all the shows coming up that interest me.

  2. Soooo many good ones came out this weekend because of Netflix’s special Con thing. And I am here for it! I have been waiting AGES for them to start releasing any kind of snippets about The Sandman so when they released a full trailer, I was ecstatic!
