This was not my week, due to a number of reasons I’m not going to get into. This meant I neither posted nor did as much as I would have liked to and I cannot really promise that it will get much better over the next week, although I’m probably going to spend a lot of time online. Feel free to find me on Twitter! Anyway, today is about trailers, so let’s get started!
Movies
Marry Me
I’M SO HERE FOR IT! It’s based on a web comic from the 2000s and I generally like JLo’s romcoms, so this is for me. I’m 100% the target audience.
Spider-Man: No Way Home
If Andrew Garfield doesn’t swoop in to save MJ from falling to her death like Gwen Stacy did in Amazing Spider-Man 2, I’m going to be very disappointed.
Dog
This is Channing Tatum’s directorial debut and he chose to work with an animal! Props for that alone!
Turning Red
Pixar bringing the fun (but probably very emotional) content again!
Don’t Look Up
I’m looking FORWARD to it!
Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas
I’m not that much of a Christmas person, so I don’t know how I feel about this being the final Zoey thing we get.
Downton Abbey: A New Era
I gotta be honest, I haven’t watched the last movie yet … I have no clue what’s going on.
Nightmare Alley
I still have a good feeling about this one. But I’ve also never seen the old movie.
The Outfit
I’m usually all over Zoey and Dylan, but not sure this is for me.
A New York Christmas
Not the best trailer, but also not entirely uninteresting.
The Novice
I’m not sure this is a subject I’d usually gravitate towards.
Mother Android
I don’t think this is for me.
TV Shows
Pam & Tommy
SO FREAKING TORN ABOUT THIS! I think it looks great, I love the cast, but … ugh, it vexes me that Pamela Anderson never gave her go for this show about HER life to be produced. I mean, who cares about Tommy, but … hmmm …
Anxious People
They adapted that SO fast! Backman content is always amazing!
The Gilded Age
I can see this taking off in a Downton Abbey kind of way.
Halo
Okay?
Landscapers
This isn’t really my thing, but Olivia Colman!
Emily in Paris (Season 2)
I feel like they just got rid of one of the guys from the previous season and added more.
Elite: Short Stories (Season 2? Or 4.5?)
Meh … I still haven’t finished Season 4.
Ozark (Season 4)
This is the final season.
The Great British Baking Show: Holidays (Season 4)
I’m not sure this is actually going to be on Netflix worldwide …
Queer Eye (Season 6)
I have to admit that I stopped watching around Season 3? Sorry?
Thoughts:
1. Spider-Man: No Way Home: Tickets go on sale here in the States a week from Monday. I can’t wait!
2. Turning Red: This looks hysterical. And I just love red pandas. They’d make destructive house pets, but they’re so darn fluffy and cute.
3. Nightmare Alley: Intriguing. Not sure if I’ll see it opening weekend though, given it comes out the same day as Spider-Man: No Way Home.

We’re going into another lockdown starting tomorrow, so I don’t know if any cinemas will be open when Spider-Man releases.
