Ooof. That Asking For It trailer looks awful. I’m sure it’s meant to be satire, but…no. Not for me.
After Yang is the one I’m looking forward to the most.

I agree that Asking for It looks terrible and I’m really excited for After Yang as well. Honestly, A24 is just one of the production companies I trust the most to create brilliant content.

Thoughts:
1. Netflix movie slate: I’m excited for Enola Holmes 2 especially, though I hope Stranger Things 4 gets here before that.
2. No Exit: The most interesting detail for me is that the guy who played God in Lucifer is in this.
3. My Best Friend Anne Frank: This could be good.
4. Notre-Dame on Fire: Proceeds better go towards restoration of the cathedral, that’s all I’m going to say.
5. Texas Chainsaw Massacre: I’m not a fan of the franchise. I personally think the original is overhyped and only one or two films since, including the remake they did in the 2000s, is good. This trailer doesn’t make me feel any more confident. That being said, I’ll watch it just to see if it’s any good.

There’s actually a lot of stuff on the Netflix slate I want to watch. The School of Good and Evil, The Grey Man, Slumberland, etc. I think there’s going to be some good stuff in there this year.
