Along for the Ride
I know so many people who adore Sarah Dessen books and yet, I’ve never read one UNTIL NOW! I’m currently a quarter into the book and it’s so much fun. A lot of drama, but it seems more toned down in the movie. I’m excited!! I mean … it has the himbo from the Saved by the Bell reboot.
7 Days
I want this movie so bad, I don’t even mind that it’s set during covid.
Where the Crawdads Sing
I was ready to hype this because of Daisy Edgar-Jones and Taylor Swift having an exclusive song for the movie, but I very recently learned a lot of unsettling information about the author and now won’t do that. I liked the book and this looks good too, but if you look into Delia Owens, you’ll see her background is very iffy.
I Love America
I knew this wasn’t an English language movie.
The Survivor
Looks heavy.
Men
Classic A24 vibes.
9 Bullets
They really love making these kid and assassin bonding movies, don’t they?
Eraser: Reborn
Oh wow, I forgot Dominic Sherwood existed and was still acting.
The Ravine
What’s with these really not good looking thriller movies?
TV Shows
Roar
Okay, this anthology series is WILD!! Feels like a Black Mirror-esque show focused on women.

Everything about this seems cool.
A Very British Scandal
What an opening to a trailer.
Killing It
I don’t watch many comedies, but it’s a maybe.
Hard Cell
I’m here for Catherine Tate.
Wild Abandon
Maybe if I’m in the mood for subtitles again.
Only Murders in the Building (Season 2 Date Announcement)
Yay! Still a whiles away, but it’s a date.
The Hardy Boys (Season 2)
Also yay! And much sooner too.
Life and Other Disasters 
I think I might skip Men. Just doesn’t seem like my kind of horror film. Other than that, I have no thoughts this week.

Here’s my question. Owen’s book was EVERYWHERE after release. Did they bury that info about her or something? Because I didn’t hear one thing about it until recently. It’s a bummer because I probably would have avoided it from the get-go, and I am surprised that these big-name stars would tie themselves to someone like that. It’s weird…
I am so going to watch Along for the Ride! I loved that book.

Yeah, I’ve only found out very recently too, but I was told that people had been talking about it for years and there’s articles from a couple years ago too. I honestly don’t know why the big names attached don’t … care? Or maybe they do, but they’re in too deep with contracts now. I have no idea.
Along for the Ride is going to be so cute. I cannot wait!

Roar looks weird and really interesting too, I’ll definitely watch. Hard Cell is a maybe mostly because I love Catherine Tate and it reminds me a little of Ted Lasso for some reason.
