I don’t know what exactly it is about this week, but I’m so very tired. I hope I didn’t miss any essential trailers or TV promos this week, but I might have. I wasn’t the most attentive, to be perfectly honest. Let’s check it out!
Movies
She Said
This screams “Award season movie” to me, which is neither good nor bad. The trailer alone gave me chills.
Day Shift
You know what? Vampires are an easy sell for me.
Secret Headquarters
The Adam Project looked better in my eyes, but this still looks so fun! Walker Scobell is gonna have a bright future.
Purple Hearts
Fake marriage to true love trope? Not a bad choice.
The Silent Twins
I think I need to research the real life people this story is based on.
Summering
Sundance movie are usually very promising.
Spin Me Round
The full trailer makes so much more sense than the teaser.
Rogue Agent
Gonna go and look into people’s eyes for too long now.
The Munsters
Oh no, it looks so bad?
13: The Musical
I’m sorry, I’m just *really* not a musical-person.
The Nan Movie
Catherine Tate never stops.
Paris Memories
I don’t like watching stories like this, but it looks really well made.
Fall
No, thank you. As a person who is afraid of heights, this has zero appeal to me.
Prey for the Devil
Guess I include horror from time to time, so why not?
The Good Boss
Capitalism, eh?
The Immaculate Room
Dude, everyone would go nuts in that room.
After Ever Happy
Is it finally over after this one? Are there still more? Why is this still a thing?
TV Shows
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
It looks SO good. I just need people to be patient and actually watch it before judging it.
The Patient
Domhnall Gleeson with an American accent always kind of throws me off. He does it well though!
The Idol
So many musicians are gonna try their hand at acting here.
American Gigolo
Jon Bernthal is perfectly cast in this role and I will not be told otherwise.
The Girl in the Mirror
Looks a little spooky, but I’m kind of into it. Why do all of these shows and movies have such similar type of titles though?
Kleo
Someone called it the German Killing Eve and I found that way too funny.
Fanático
Heck no! I wouldn’t want to pretend to be a resurrected superstar.
Uncoupled
Pretty sure I shared the teaser for this one before.
Chucky (Season 2)
Still can’t believe the little murder doll is in again.
Stargirl (Season 3)
I love Stargirl almost as much as I dislike the CW as a network, which is a lot.
Harley Quinn (Season 3)
I don’t go here, but happy for the people who love the show.
The Handmaid’s Tale (Season 5)
I used to love this show, but it has lost some of its appeal a couple seasons ago. I just want the show to end soon?
Looking forward to the return of Stargirl. Don’t know if it will see another season after this, but will enjoy it while it’s still around. Fall movie – the teaser trailer actually had me curious, but after seeing the full trailer here…Nope. (which is the movie I’m looking forward to Friday!).

I think Stargirl is some of the best CW content, but I don’t trust the network at all. My hopes are that it might get picked up by HBO Max alongside Superman & Lois if it were ever in peril.
I hope you’ll enjoy Nope! I have many friends who are excited for it.

I guess I’ll be watching Day Shift, if only because we are going to a beer festival that day so we’ll be drunk anyway.
I can’t explain it well but LOTR looks Too good. Too clean, too pretty, too fake. I’ll still give it a try, but can’t say I’m excited for it.

I guess my personal stakes in the LOTR franchise are very low, so I can look forward to it without too many expectations or wishes.

That’s fair. I looooove the movies and books, so I d want it to be good. Then again, the Hobbit movies weren’t amazing either and that was fine. I would like the series to be great. But if it isn’t… oh well. Not the end of the world.

Thoughts:
1. She Said: This has such Spotlight vibes, for all the obvious reasons, and I’m into it. Also, if the title is any indication, you can make a hell of a drinking game just looking for every moment someone says “she said.”
2. Day Shift: Oh, this looks hysterical!
3. The Munsters: I was never into The Munsters. I preferred The Addams Family. And this does look kind of terrible. Though I might watch it at some point, just to see if it’s secretly fun.
4. 13: Most of my family loves musicals. And given that most people think Fiddler on the Roof when it comes to Jews and musicals, I’m seriously intrigued by this.
5. Prey for the Devil: Looks stereotypical, but I’ll probably give it a chance.
6. Harley Quinn (season 3): Bring it on, bring it on, bring it on! This show is part of the reason I subscribed to HBO Max!

I used to watch the old Munsters TV show with my parents sometimes. I liked it well enough, although I definitely grew up more with the Addams Family myself. This looks absolutely terrible though, as in the production value seems weirdly low.
Had to include Prey for the Devil, because one of the actors surprisingly follows me on Twitter haha

I’m excited to see the Lord of the Rings show, it looks REALLY good!! Also, that movie Purple Hearts sounds like my kind of story. I feel like I’m going to cry watching it, because you know me, emotions, ahah, but it looks great!
Thank you for always sharing these trailers, Kat ❤
