Welcome to my 101st post of the year! I was genuinely surprised when I saw just how much I had posted this year. However, we’re here to talk about movie and TV trailers and there are many to look forward to. With SDCC being this week, we were blessed with plenty new content. I hope I didn’t miss anything. Enjoy!

Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever
It gave me chills and made me cry, need I say more? I cannot imagine the pressure the cast and crew felt making this movie, but you can tell they put their everything into it.
Shazam 2: Fury of the Gods
I hope they keep the focus on the family (which it looks like they will), because that’s what gave the first movie so much heart.
Black Adam
I mean, I’d definitely watch it.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
I know there’s some stuff in the trailer that seems extremely homebrew, but I’m so HYPED for this movie. It just seems like a lot of fun?
John Wick 4
I just hope the dog makes it all the way through the franchise.
Look Both Ways
I don’t know what that says about me, but movies like this were made for me. I love the cast and that both ways of life seem to be treated as valid and equal options. Worried about how they’ll end the movie, but I’ll deal with that once I get there.

I watched and liked the first trailer, but I didn’t watch this one. I’d rather see the movie itself and not know too many of the shots already. And I’m DEFINITELY going to watch this movie.

I was a HUGE Teen Wolf fan back in the day, but it’s a nope from me. No Stiles, no Kira, … It’s just not worth it.

Vampire Academy
If only this wasn’t a Julie Plec show … I’d be so much more excited for it. There’s a lot of vampire content this week though! (Still, Rose was always my fave and she got a much better love interest than in the movie, based on casting.)

I wonder if I can take this seriously or if it’s just a nice short film collection for fun.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
Again, I was personally hyped with the teaser already and didn’t need more, but it’s a good full trailer.
House of the Dragon
Look, I like the cast, they are surely great in their roles, but nothing will get me to watching a GoT prequel … or sequel for that matter. I am so done with that franchise after how the final seaosn panned out.
National Treasure: Edge of History
I know people are miffed that Nic Cage isn’t in this, but I’m here for it. Especially since my boy Jake Austin Walker will be in it and I’m happy to see him get jobs.

Omggg love the content this year Kat – you’ve been doing amazing! SDCC announced some amazing projects, Black Panther looks really good and emotional – I think it’s really going to honour the legacy of Chadwick Bozeman and T’Challa all while portraying the story of Wakanda! I think that a new She Hulk Trailer makes the show seem a bit more superhero-esque compared to the comedy vibes we got from the teaser (I honestly wasn’t expecting it to come out yesterday though! 😆) Also what do you think of the MCU’s new multiverse saga?!

Thank you so much, Zainab! You’re always so sweet 💖 I’ve honestly felt a bit burned out by Marvel content lately and just need to take it one step at a time. They’ve been toying with the infinite opportunities that the multiverse will bring for a while now, so I’ll just have to wait and see. BUT I am beyond hyped for Wakanda Forever. Like you said, I think it’s going to honor Chadwick and T’Challa in a beautiful way.

I’m kind of saturated on Marvel content at the moment … I still haven’t seen the latest Thor movie and I usually adore anything Taika does. But I’m beyond hyped for Wakanda Forever.

Ooooh I’m looking forward to John Wick 4! I love that franchise… or it could possibly just be Keanu Reeves 😂 I love him in pretty much everything I’ve seen so far. Also adding that Star Trek show to my long list of Trek material to watch. I just finished watching the animated series from the 70s and I loved it so much! So this could be right up my alley! 😄

Keanu Reeves is the best! I funnily enough completely fell for him in the Lake House movie, but he’s one of my favorites.
Star Treks: Lower Decks is completely ridiculous, but I love it.

Yep, we’re getting all the vampire content back haha I liked the movie back in the day, but it flopped hard. Zoey Deutch deserved better, but this looks like it will go places.
