Trailers You Might Have Missed … (July 25-31/2022)

It’s the end of the week and the start of my vacation! I don’t think we have as many new and fantastic trailers as last week, but let’s just check them out. Here we go!

Ana de Armas definitely looks the part, even if I can still hear her accent peak through, but … something about them exploiting the life of a person, who literally suffered because her life was exploited so much while she was alive … not ideal?

I don’t think I can watch this. It’s going to make me too sad.

Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio

This definitely doesn’t look like all those boring remakes we got as of late.

Oh, this is loosely based on Wizard of Oz! Looks wild.

Me Time

I think it’s just a bit too much for me.

This is an origin story for X, if I got that right?

Well, this definitely didn’t give away the whole movie.

Out of the Blue

Ever since Panic, Ray Nicholson is on my radar. Looking forward to seeing him in more.

I know people are tired of superhero movies, but …

House of Darkness

Justin Long horror movies freak me out and yes, I’m saying that because of Tusk.

Okay, this took a turn I didn’t expect, but I still doubt that I’d watch it.

The Justice of Bunny King

It’s a change of pace for Essie Davis from the Babadook to this.

The title says it all, eh?

TV Shows

Twin mysteries can be so much fun. I’m thinking A Simple Favor or that show with Sarah Michelle Gellar here.

Bad Sisters

I’m here for Daryl McCormack.

The Undeclared War

I like Simon Pegg in serious roles.

Let the Right One In

Didn’t we have like two movies about this already?

Partner Track

Love this for Arden Cho!

Ghosts (Season 2)

I’m glad they managed to make it their own, despite being a remake of a UK show that’s still airing.

Fate: Winx Saga (Season 2)

Still surprised this got renewed, but I guess hate watching is still amping up numbers sometimes. I’m kind of looking forward to it as an easy watch though.

Locke & Key (Season 3)

I’m looking forward to the final season. I hope they end it on a good note.

Never Have I Ever (Season 3)

August is giving me all the finale season of my teen Netflix shows.

Did you spot something on here you would like to watch? Let’s chat about that!

  1. Thoughts:
    1. Blonde: Looks pretty dark. Probably not my thing, though.
    2. Till: I’ve read so much about this case. I’ll be sure to check it out.
    3. Pinocchio: Why? First an unnecessary remake, and now this.
    4. Rainbow: I’m still waiting for a Wizard of Oz adaptation that explores the sexual orientation/gender identity themes that L Frank Baum never intended to put in his work but got there anyway.
    5. House of Darkness: Ooh, when does it come out?
    6. Let the Right One In: I don’t think this will compare very well to the movie versions. Those are just so iconic.
