Trailers You Might Have Missed … (Oct 10-16/2022)

Trailers You Might Have Missed This Week

It’s Sunday and we all know what that means – I have prepped a list of movie and TV show trailers for you! Without further ado, let’s jump right into things!

Movies

Spirited

Based on the cast, you just know it’s going to be GOOD.

Bar Fight

As much as I love Melissa Fumero, I’m really not sure I will find this funny.

She Is Love

Sam Riley is one of my weak spots. He was just really nice when I met him.

Deborah

So, this hits all the right notes for me, because it has an AI and time travel shenanigans. Well, and Deborah Ann Woll in a movie called Deborah.

Next Exit

Always here to support Rahul Kohli, but I’ve heard really good things about the movie already.

M3GAN

The internet went nuts when the trailer for this one released. M3GAN is already an icon.

Matilda the Musical

I, personally, just don’t love musicals. But I always used to love Matilda – my childhood hero.

Three Day Millionaire

It’s been a while since I’ve watched a movie where the people had such thick accents. Had to focus for a bit there.

Poker Face

And here you go with an Aussie movie.

On the Line

Always unsure about Mel Gibson movies …

Women Talking

This trailer was made to give people goosebumps.

Cici

This looks like it could be an emotionally packed movie.

The Takeover

All the seriousness went out the window when I saw that she was named like one of the Spice Girls.

Wendell & Wild

I think I only shared the teaser previously.

Wild is the Wind

I oddly expected the movie to be about something else based on the title.

Enola Holmes 2

I genuinely didn’t need another trailer for this one. I would watch it regardless of what they showed prior to the release anyway.

Lost Bullet 2

Interesting what kind of stuff is getting a sequel. I feel like I’ve never even heard of this, but then I don’t watch crime/action stuff a lot.

TV Shows

The Bastard Son & the Devil Himself

THIS is my kind of show. I’ll so watch this and it’s truly releasing at the perfect time too.

The English

Westerns are really having a renaissance.

Mood

Would watch this.

Riches

Looks interesting!

Warrior Nun (Season 2)

I watched the first season, I remember that much, but it feels like ages. The Netflix social media team really hyped up this new season, but I don’t know that many people who actually watched it. Weird.

The Mosquito Coast (Season 2)

Mythic Quest (Season 3)

FINALLY!!!

Titans (Season 4)

I’m a couple seasons behind, so I didn’t actually watch the teaser or the clips, but enjoy!

Doom Patrol (Season 4)

Again, I’m not up to date. I’m terrible at keeping up with the DC stuff.

Did you spot something you would like to watch? Let’s talk about that!

  1. Warrior Nun – Saw season 1 and thought it was worth seeing. But yeah, that seems like forever ago. Gonna have to double back and refresh my memory on that one. Enola Holmes 2 – Looking forward to her next chapter very much. M3GAN – Saw the trailer and it weirded me out in a negative way. Don’t have an interest in that based on what I saw so far.

    • I don’t think I was head over heels into Warrior Nun, but I also just started watching it because of Emilio Sakraya.
I’m definitely not watching M3GAN 😅 but she was a meme almost immediately. My entire twitter timeline was just gifs and screenshots of the trailer.

  3. Thoughts:
    1. M3GAN: Bring it on!
    2. Women Talking: No goosebumps, but it does look interesting.
    3. Enola Holmes 2: YES!
    4. The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself: Looks really good!

Also, there was a trailer this week for the new season of American Horror Story. While I was disappointed with the last season, I’m hoping they’ll do better this season.

  4. I’m a similar position to you regarding Matilda – I loved the books and the musical. But I feel like I would’ve much rather seen a movie that was a modern adaptation of the first one😆I’m super excited for Enola Holmes too aswell! Do you know when it’s released – i forgot the date! 😂
